I was stressed, worried and nervous that I wouldn't find a proper fit...and then I came across Michael. I had a good vibe from the get-go and I was so incredibly pleased with his knock-out performance!!! Michael is amazing, I sincerely cannot say enough nice things about him. Alisa was hired to cater our wedding of 35 guests at a private residence. She went above and beyond call of duty with cocktails, appetizers, the dinner, and setting up, breaking down the event. She arrived early to set up for both the ceremony and the dinner, and provided the cocktails and beer which received reave reviews from the guests. For the appetizers, she provided polenta bites and bruschetta in keeping with our Italian menu and both were really tasty. The dinner menu consisted of a caesar salad with grilled salmon, tomato bisque, and a cappellacci di zucca; all were truly delicious. She cleaned up the same night, making it easy for us to enjoy the kitchen the next morning for breakfast. If I were to host another event, I would hire Alisa in a heartbeat.

Hiring Tiffany was the best decision I made during the wedding planning process. I had a long list of things I was hoping she could handle (bringing items to the venue and setting up, coordinating with vendors and handing over checks, recording speeches, keeping an eye on the bar tab, recording speeches, making sure things got into my car at the end of the night, etc.). She did everything I was hoping and then some. Someone knocked over a jar of pepper flakes, I literally turned around and she was on it. One of the food vendors asked for a cutting fee on delivery (that they told me they were going to charge my card for in advance), she fronted it and let me know at the end of the night. She brought us drinks. She cleared tables. She packed everything up for us so getting out of the venue was easy. She thought of details I hadn't considered before the wedding and made sure we had a solid timeline and all contingencies covered. Communication was great from start to finish. I really couldn't be more impressed with her.

Tiffany was a lifesaver, before, during, and after my September 13th wedding. I wasn't anticipating needing a day-of coordinator, so I sent my thumbtack request out less than a month before my wedding, but Tiffany was able to hit the ground running. We met before the wedding and she was professional and organized and able to help me work out last-minute details I hadn't even considered. The day of my wedding, she set up all the reception decorations single-handedly, managed the vendors and timing, and made sure everything ended up where it was supposed to, post-wedding. I found Matt as a great and competitive bid on Thumbtack for my wedding personal flowers. I had made my own centerpieces and alter pieces. I sent Matt pictures of my inspiration bouquet and my own creations. I told him I was open minded as long as everything flowed nicely together. I was more than pleased! We got much larger flower arrangements than I had anticipated for the price. They looked amazingly similar to my inspiration pic and also blended well with the decor I had created. Matt was very responsive and easy going via email and didn't worry that one of my payments was a bit late. My wedding planner picked up the flowers, but she said there were no problems with this process either. Overall, flowers were not something I thought I cared too much about--however Matt not only made them fit within my budget, but also made them one of my favorite touches to our wedding. I cannot recommend Forsyth Designs enough. Wonderful to work with all around.

I had Rainbow chef cater a baby shower. Lana was very helpful in the planning and menu selection and offered some great suggestions. The mother to be was on some food restrictions so Lana worked around that too. They prepared a nice mid day Mediterranean inspired meal with chicken lettuce cups, roasted vegetables with tahini sauce, a wonderful bruschetta, fruit salad and cupcakes in assorted flavors. The feedback on the food was amazing. Jenny showed up with the food and prepared it on my serving trays. She was on time and left my kitchen counter clean. We were extremely happy with Taneva Events. We wanted a simple but elegant wedding in Hawaii and Velina at Taneva Events provided that and more for us. She worked with us on everything from the smallest detail on the dinner napkins to working with vendors on logistical details, setup on the day of the wedding and ensuring our day was perfect. We did not have a clear idea of what we wanted to do for our wedding besides the fact that we wanted to keep it simple and take advantage of the natural beauty of the setting. Velina was really helpful from the start, brainstorming ideas with us, and making suggestions for the decor that we would have never thought of on our won. We did not want traditional flower centerpieces, and Velina was able to accommodate us by creating beautiful pineapple centerpieces, and tied them all together with the runner, candles, handmade napkins, and pedestals that she placed the pineapples on. Everybody complemented the decor and the bridal bouquet that she created from traditional Hawaiian flowers. We could not have had such a beautiful and smooth day without Velina's help. Planning for a wedding is always stressful, but Velina eased a lot of our stress and was always a pleasure to work with.

Monaique was my partial and day-of wedding coordinator for my SF wedding ~2 weeks ago. We only met in person 5 days before my wedding day and have just been talking on the phone for months before our event. So that already shows the trust I have on her! She has this innate characteristic that just relaxes, calms and reassures me that everything would be fine for the wedding. This is one of the most important things for me (and the one trait I love most about her) as I was planning the wedding from Texas and constantly in panic the last months before wedding! She helped me finalize and negotiate our contract for the flowers just a few months before the wedding, which was a very big deal. And I was not disappointed. She went beyond her duties by lending her beautiful dessert bar platters, AND also arranging our dessert buffet that completed the look of our reception and it was all so elegant and pretty! Heidi and Ashton were the perfect day-of wedding coordinators. When we arrived at the site on our wedding day, everything was beautifully set up as if by magic. Gracefully and unobtrusively, they made everything happen. They arranged flowers, set up the wedding altar, wrangled vendors, and guided guests through the day’s various phases (ceremony, reception, toasts). They even served us cake and champagne. Our guests remarked on how “effortless” the wedding seemed; this is largely due to Birminkeley’s hard work! Birminkeley also helped plan our wedding. They visited the venue with us and talked us through everything from where to seat the guests to how many tablecloths to order. Later, they helped us search for wedding vendors. Despite our tight timeline (~2 months), they found us a wonderful photographer, rental company, and makeup artist. At first, I was a little bit worried about the final work since there will be lots of blue flowers on the arch and sometimes the color may be not the exact of what I like. I worked with Shereen who was phenomenal! Any questions or concerns I had she was able to address in a timely manner. I rented linens, chair covers, table runners, and napkins from them and they were able to create such an elegant look for our wedding reception. They have such a wide selection to choose from and really work with you to stay within your budget. Will definitely keep them in mind for any upcoming events.

Working with Krista for our wedding was such a fabulous and easy experience. She was available to answer questions and bounce ideas off with really quick response times. Having a destination wedding was a little bit of a challenge logistically, but Krista was great in making sure everything we needed was ready to go and nothing left behind! The flowers came out perfect - I loved being able to show her ideas of what we wanted and she nailed it! Our guests thought the centerpieces and bouquets were just beautiful!
