Clovis Music Lessons

Introduction: I am offering music lessons - including: piano and percussion (drums) in the Fresno and Clovis areas. Lessons include: learning how to read music notation, dictate rhythm, ear training, music theory and history and performance etiquette. The first lesson is free! About me: I hold a bachelor of arts degree in music education with an emphasis in percussion performance, along with an extensive study in piano performance. I also have an M.Ed. with an emphasis in best practices. I have 18+ years of experience in playing both piano and percussion. Some of my experiences include performing in a number of major performance ensembles including: orchestras, symphonic bands, jazz bands, marching bands and percussion ensembles. Teaching experiences include piano and percussion classes, concert band, percussion ensemble, marching band, choir, orchestra, recorder and general music. Most of my current students start out as beginners with their instrument choice and excell to a superior level including preparing for auditions, performances and playing exams within the world of music academia.
