Introduction: I am a board-certified acupuncturist with experience in needling, Chinese herbal therapy, cupping, moxibustion, and nutritional counseling. Chinese medicine is a complete system of healing, and I have helped clients with a variety of issues, including diabetes, multiple sclerosis, and arthritis. I have also helped clients with pain management, bell's palsy, thyroid conditions, gastrointestinal conditions, migraines, and sleeping issues. I am passionate about helping people help themselves. Chinese medicine is a safe, non-addictive therapy that uses the body's healing mechanisms in order to resolve dysfunction and disease. Improper nutrition, the environment and stress contribute to a slow and often unnoticed state of dysfunction. Allergies, aches and pains, indigestion, weight gain and inconsistencies in sleeping patterns become the "new normal." These seemingly age-related issues are actually signals that your body is not in an optimal state of health. With time, these minor issues may transform into life-changing conditions, such as, diabetes, high blood pressure, arthritis, IBS and ultimately heart disease.
