Terry is a very patient, and professional swimming teacher.Aug 7, 2017Verified
Terry is amazing. I am 36 coming back from an injury where it was suggested that I try swimming. Since I never officially learned how to swim I decided to take lessons with Terry. She is very patient and really works with you to be comfortable in water and at the same time will push you to improve. She is also very thorough and was able to help me understand what was holding me back. Give her a try. You won't regret this investment.Aug 1, 2017VerifiedMrs. Terry M.'s reply

Q & A
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? If I travel to the lesson, the minimum is an hour lesson. Pricing options upon request. PayPal accepted I will negotiate a group rate for mom and tot classes and other circumstances.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Yes. CPR, FIrst-aid and AED Certifications Child Development Teaching the Special Child
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I worked in the rehabilitation department of Children's Medical Center in Oklahoma. On two occasions there were children recovering from drowning accidents. They were both 2, both had blond hair and blue eyes. They were never going to be able to walk, talk, eat or move again...all because of unnecessary accidents. From that time I said when I have my own kids...they were going to learn how to swim from an early age. I then aquired my Swim Teaching Certificate and began teaching. Not a day goes by that I don't think of those children. I am so glad to teach children to swim and how to be safe in and around water.
