Introduction: Hello! My name is Jason, and I am offering my handyman services to families or other homeowners that may be falling on hard times during this crazy economic time, or maybe you are just at the point in life where you can’t do what you used to and need a little help. I would love to come to your home and help you with any of the smaller projects that need to get done. All I ask is that you do not contact me if you are able to do the projects yourself or can afford to have a professional come out to do the work. Below is a list of some things that I may be able to help you out with. These are just examples and I’m not limited to these. If there is something else you need done, please ask and I will let you know upfront if I can do it or not. What is it going to cost me? You ask. As far as labor is concerned, nothing. You will only be responsible to pay for any materials or parts that may be needed. Example, in fixing a leaky faucet, the labor is free but in replacing faucet seals, I charge 3-5 dollars. In fixing a broken section of fence, the labor is free but the wood and screws cost 30-40 dollars. Now these are just estimates and examples, and every job will be different. What is the process? Tell me what you need done and please include your phone number. I will then call you and discuss a little further to set up a time to come out and see what you need. If it is a small and quick job, Ill do it right there. If it will take a little more time and special materials are needed, we'll schedule a time for me to come back and finish up. How do I pay if I need to buy special materials? Once everything is purchased for your job, I will show you the receipts and that is what you will need to pay. Sounds good? Okay, that’s about it. Some things I can help with: * Basic Items: - Change light bulbs - Fix squeaky doors or windows - Put together IKEA type furniture - Reprogram your TV, VCR, or DVD player - Install smoke detectors or replace batteries - Replace your heating/AC filter - Hang pictures or mirrors *Plumbing: - Leaky faucets - Toilet that won’t stop running - Minor clogs - Replace or fix sprinklers - Fix leaky pipes * Construction: - Patch holes in walls or doors - Repair broken decking or patio covers - Install handrails for disabled or elderly - Fix broken gate or section of fence *Automotive: - Replace fan belt or serpentine belt - Replace headlights/tail lights - Windshield wipers - Re-hang that pesky rear view mirror Disclaimer – I am not a licensed contractor, and I do not have insurance for the work I do. I have remodeled and built many structures and can fix or build just about anything. No money will be paid before a quote is given for materials needed.
