- What types of customers have you worked with?
My most common service is assisting couples in negotiating how to settle their divorce without litigation. After 32 years of practice, I have developed a strategy that promotes negotiation and settlement, especially when one spouse is unsure as to whether or not they want a divorce. My strategy is to diffuse the situation to avoid going to Court and spending tens of thousands of dollars on litigation.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be wary! Most likely they have never had to hire an attorney or legal assistant before so they have to feel very comfortable with that person's experience and knowledge. They are entrusting their lives to whomever they hire and if it's someone incompetent, the damage often cannot be undone.
