The person that I spoke with was very unprofessional. I chose to go with another dj and the response was unwarranted. See below.Mar 4, 2019VerifiedParty Finesse's reply
I think anyone reading this can agree that it would be decent of you to show up to a scheduled appointment and at least hear what I can do to make your special day magnificent. Instead you choose hire to someone else and not show up to your scheduled consultation. That would be the courteous thing to do. Regardless good luck to you.
Steve was great, DJ kept the party going all night. I didn't really give any instructions but there were a few times it would have been good if he MC'ed or asked for any announcements. Overall, everyone asked for his contact info, music was great, and people had a blast!Jan 16, 2018Verified
Steve was fantastic. Highly recommend him for your party. Besides being the DJ, he also put up lights for me in my back yard that looked fantastic.May 30, 2018Verified
DJ Steve helped to make our wedding reception very memorable. He had a huge song list with the obscure songs we requested and was able to keep things moving. In planning for the day of, he sent documents to fill out which allowed my husband and I to plan without wasting our time.Jan 18, 2016Verified
Was were really saddened that we hired any subcontractors through this DJ service. We don’t have any footage of our wedding as he falsely advertised the product ( according to the subcontractor himself) and failed to manage his subcontractor who was suppose to shoot our wedding and never showed up to church only to reception cause he was never told where to go and felt awful about it. We were heartbroken and only asked DJ to discount the video part of the bill to which he threatened to hold hostage what footage he did get of reception unless we paid in full. The edited video and footage he ended up sending us was not what was advertised and was so subpar. He was actually a really decent DJ but I would find it hard to recommend him because of how he handled the subcontractor and us.Aug 20, 2018VerifiedParty Finesse's reply
You asked for videographers and gave you choices. you picked one. Sorry you were not satisfied.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I find most of my clients are planning a large party for the first time. And parties is all I do. So I like to guide my client through the process, provide all the planning tools I can and provide thorough information so clients can pick the options that best suit their event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? There are always developments in the field. we stay on top of all the new technology and keep our music database updated every week.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?A Great DJ makes all the difference. Not all DJ's that call themselves wedding DJ's have been professionally trained to do weddings, and are just going off trail and error. I have been personally trained by a 30 year veteran of wedding receptions. I am now in my 11th year personally. I use a timetable to make everything run smoothly along with an info page asking what you want the DJ to do and specific items about your reception. I use professional DJ software to mix and It allows me search my 105,000 selections to instantly play your request. I play better music overall because of my superior genre organization. I customize every event the way you want it. I wear a tuxedo. Your wedding is important and what the DJ wears is an indication of how important is to them. I am a wedding specialist and your reception is extremely important.
