FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I thought at one point in my life I wanted to be a doctor/surgeon but found out quickly the necessary courses weren't my strong suit. Communication was where my strengths were, so I ended up in PR/corporate communications/media relations. That work expanded into other types of communications and writing, and as a consultant, I enjoy the flexibility to work on a variety of projects with a range of clients.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Your project is important!! The lowest price does not reflect the best work. It is just the lowest price. Do you want quality work, or someone to scream through your project as quickly as s/he can because their quote is so low they can't spend time on your project? Do your research on the consultant you choose and consider all aspects to ensure you get a good, quality project for a reasonable price. Your project is important to you, and so it should be important to your service provider as well!
