JJ and I have started an intense workout regimen that quite frankly is kicking my a@%... but is exactly what I need to get back into shape both in muscle tone and cardiovascular stamina. He is at once approachable and friendly, he doesn't shout but will hold you to pushing yourself as far as you can go, and then a little more. If you are committed to getting into shape, I HIGHLY recommend meeting up with JJ. He is also extremely knowledgeable regarding nutrition and will literally answer any nutrition questions I have as often as I have them throughout the day via text in a very quick manner. I also really love the variety of workouts he has led me through: weigh training, intense cardio, interval training, boxing/martial arts... I'm pretty convinced he can do anything. Three things you should know: 1. You will sweat... a lot! 2. You will be sore... really sore. 3. You will have a good time through it.

OJ is 1 of the best personal trainers I've ever come into contact with. For starters, your initial meeting is a workout created to personalize your strengths and weaknesses for future sessions. Afterwards, he speaks with you regarding your target goals, time frame, ideal weight etc. Meanwhile, he's compiling a special profile just for you in his computer. He sends weekly updates on your progress like: body fat percentage and weight loss/gain. In addition, he also sends motivational text messages during the week. He really is the most professional personal trainer I've ever encountered. I'm just 3 weeks into my training sessions and I'm already seeing results. Thanks OJ!

I've been training with one of Joe's trainers, Eddie, in Orange County and I must say it's been an amazing experience. Eddie is understanding, patient but surely also knows how to challenge me. It's never the same workout and it makes it fun each time. Eddie is always checking on me and making sure I am doing ok after a workout and always brings up new ideas not just to workout but also mobility exercises, stretching, etc. I never used to work out in the morning before going to work but now it's become a habit and I feel great for the rest of the day. Don't hesitate to get fit with these guys! Joe and his team are awesome!!

When I first decided to start working out with a personal trainer, I looked online for personal trainers in Pasadena. I ultimately decided to go with Hugo based on all of the positive reviews I read of him on here. Since the reviews initially helped me make a decision on choosing Hugo as my personal trainer, I just had to leave my own review. Before committing to train with Hugo, he offered me an introductory deal so that I could experience working out with him. The first couple sessions he evaluated my strength, endurance, and overall physical ability. Once my fitness level and goals were established, Hugo set up a training program and nutritional plan for me. He begins every session by explaining and demonstrating the exercises in the circuit. He also clarifies and demonstrates the importance of proper form, which makes it really easy for me since I'm a visual learner. At any point during the exercise if I forget to use proper form, Hugo reminds me and encourages me throughout. He is very good at helping me understand which muscles each exercise is working out. I like how during every session, he is focused, patient, and motivates me to make sure I'm giving it my all. His professionalism and friendliness make it all that much more of a positive experience training with him. I've been training with Hugo for about three months now, and I can say that I'm truly happy with my results so far. My strength and endurance have greatly increased since our first session. I've noticed my body fat decrease and my muscle mass increase. I also feel much better when I'm exercising and eating healthy, it has greatly helped with my anxiety. I definitely plan on continuing to train with Hugo. I'm excited to see how my fitness level and physique continue to progress. I'm glad that I chose Hugo as my personal trainer, it is obvious that he loves what he does and cares about his clients. I definitely recommend Hugo for anyone looking for a personal trainer, you will not regret it!

Paul is an extremely professional, friendly and helpful trainer! He is experienced and knows what he is doing. He gives out meal plans and excercises that is suitable for my level. Manuk isn't an ordinary trainer. He pays close attention to your needs and goals and tailors the work out plan accordingly. I loved the different work out plans each and every time which helped me like working out. One of the main reasons Manuks training works for me is because he motivates and inspires me every time. The key for me was to stay consistent.

during the first session we tested my strength and he really walked me through everything we were doing and why we were doing it. he listened to what i wanted to change and then showed me workouts that would achieve my goals. i cant wait to really start training with him

I just want to start off by saying thanks a lot for the great workout Jacob! My arms and legs feel like noodles! Jacob has a great attitude and made the time he was training me enjoyable, even tho I was sweating and my body was feeling the burn! Jacob used a variety of different workouts that I've never tried out. I will be going back to workout with him again and see what level he can take me to. Thanks again Jacob!

I actually met her thru a friend of mine, who was one of her close friends. I had hired several personal trainers but until Mami showed me her own training routines I was never happy. I wanted to get some good toned butt and get rid of my belly fat, after doing her routines for just 4 weeks, I started noticing my body is really rocking hot, and not only me, but all my friends and coworkers noticed the change on my body. Chris is very patient, precise, and extremely knowledgeable in his training sessions. You tell him your goals and designs a program to meet them. I never felt rushed or pushed or discouraged yet his sessions are the perfect challenge. He understands the reality of dieting and can guide you through what works to be successful. His gym is in downtown Santa Monica just a coupe blocks from the beach with free 90 min parking across the street. The training sessions take a bout an hour so you have plenty of time if you want to grab a coffee before or after. His sessions are amazing! You see results fast without working out forever. What I like the most is that he answered all of my curious questions from past training experiences and was very supportive with my process.
