Bruce is turning into our go-to plumber. When we heard the gurgling sounds we knew ther was a serious problem. I almost lost it,--after all, we just had work done a few weeks ago but He talked me in from the ledge. Bruce unclogged the main sewer line and install a main sewer line clean out (because our 1930s house didn't have one).. He also discovered that our original galvanized pipes are almost disintegrating. But that is for another house call.... Only one complaint, and that is that Bruce only takes cash. (Who does that since 2000?) Cash is not always practical.
Thank you Manny for looking out for me and my family as the smell and back up of sewerage into our home was extremely dangerous. Manny performed an inspection using his sewer camera. He explained to me what we were seeing and why we were seeing what we saw and at the same time explaining to me what needed to be done to fix the sewer pipe. He explained it in such a way that it all made sense, the connections and all. After the inspection, I gave Manny the okay to begin the work and thank God that he was able to send his crew to our home within the hour. The work was guaranteed, done fast, including the 10 foot ditch that had to be dug. Manny and his crew were extremely nice, quick, affordable and reliable. No more stinky smells and backups for us!! For all of your plumbing needs, I highly recommend Allstar Rooter! Thank you Manny!
Juan was very responsive with his communications, arrived on time, excellent prep work and cleanup. He was hired to R & R a sink faucet and drain in tight vanity compartment. Juan was well prepared and did great work. I recommend his services if you are looking for a solid plumber.
I hired All In One Plumbing & Drains to clean out a stopped up bathroom drain in a rental unit. Mike came out, cleared the line, and cleaned up thoroughly. He even installed the new parts with no labor charge. Although they are a newly formed company, their personnel are pros. I was impressed with their work and their pricing.
I needed plumbing services with a clogged drain, and he came punctual and was very professional, we still have the problem but he did his best effort to help us.
Dave responds to our request fast within hours and explained the situation of our gutter problem and future issues clearly, hands on to fix the gutter cleaning right away with a reasonable price. nice person to work with.
Frank & his assistant did a great job snaking & unclogging our clogged bathtub drain.
Curtious and fast service! Used them for plumbing repairs and they were easy to get ahold of and were able to come out next day. Pleasure to deal with.
John was not only quick to respond but he came out same day to clear out a storm drain that flooded my patio. His prices were well below other quotes and his work is guaranteed. He was very friendly and courteous. He cleared the drain and all the water on the patio within an hour. We will definitely be calling on him again.
I highly recommend Carlos for any kind of water or plumbing job. He has great communication and follow-through. He is an expert and modified the installation of my water system to make sure it was perfect for my specific situation. We are very pleased with his work.
I needed a plumber to come out and check the clogged drains in my bathroom tub and sink, and bad sewer stench coming from my bathtub. Turns out will need some serious work cleaning of main sewer pipes. Robert and his partner were punctual, professional, and genuine while diagnosing the problem. They took the time to explain everything and provided reasonable quotes. Will hire them for future plumbing projects.
Gregory was right on time and even brought booties to protect my wood floors! While he could not mount my dishwasher drawer, he gave me some tips and insights and offered to come back to mount it when I got the proper brackets. I asked about a problem I had w my drain creating a smell, he offered tips on how to eliminate it. He said adding an additional trap would not solve the problem. So, I wasn’t able to hire him but I hope if I need him someday he’ll be available!
I hired Ocho Plumbing to entirely replace a bathroom faucet, drain a shower drain and repair the parts inside a toilet tank. Edgar was very responsive. He arrived on time. He communicated estimates and pricing ahead of doing the work. He was honest and very professional. The work he did was excellent and he cleaned up afterwards. I would highly recommend him!
As a contractor I'm particular about other contractors. I've also had a number of plumbers out to the house and have never called the same one back twice. Anthony will be the first I will call back. Super nice guy, prompt, and easy to contact. The price was also equal to or better than the other plumbers I've called. He got to the house and had the drain unclogged in no time. This is after I used my own snake, then went out and rented a 50' electric snake from Home Depot, spent hours on the drain, and finally gave up and called Anthony. I would highly recommend him for your drainage, hot water heater, most of your plumbing needs.
Rahmi installed a shower drain and secondary drain for a steam unit. He was careful not to butcher my floor joists and made clean cuts. Very pleasant surprise after my experience with a previous plumber. I hired him to come back to install the trim too. Prior to this experience he helped me to troubleshoot another issue before the hot mop of the shower over the phone. He is the real deal. Thank you.
Isidoro is a trust worthy person. Very hard to find a professional like this. He used the hydrojet and camera for a sewer line, yet the result is just satisfactory. Later that night, Isi told me it was his equipment under-performing. Isi fixed the hydrojet, and came back the following day to complete the job to the best of his ability. This is an indication of an honest person. I will definitely call Isi for the next job. Furthermore, his rate is very competitive.
American Castles Mike To the RESCUE!!! The water heater at my rental property burst on a Friday afternoon causing some major damage to the house. The renters were furious because their items got damaged and the house wasn't inhabitable after that. On the inside, the bathroom wall and under stairway closet were all soaking wet and drywall/carpet/padding had to be removed immediately to prevent mole build up. On the garage side where the water heater located, the entire wall was destroyed. so I called my home insurance who provided me with their preferred plumber who quoted an additional $540 out of pocket on top of what the insurance was going to cover just so he can bring up the water heater installation to code! He told me that it will take him 1+ week to order the water heater (duh...get one from Home Depot take only 1hr...which is what Mike did) and that he can install a temporary water heater and will charge $137/wk! He also referred me to a water damage restoration company which I was not too happy with either. Since it was an emergency and I went with that company. They came in and ripped out all the wet drywall without caring for any molding; especially for garage doors and closet doors! It seemed like what ever the water heater didn't damage, they did. They also broke my water heater intake shut off valve. damage the water heater over flow copper pipe. All I can say is I will not use them again! Back to the plumber, something was smelling fishy about his quote and so I called and questioned this plumber. His response was "Well, I will need to flush out the gas line and calibrate your water pressure...upgrade to the new California safety quote...put in earthquake straps...install new vent line since the new water heater nowaday don't use the old vent line!". I was not convinces so I started to Google for good local contractor and AMERICAN CASTLES (Mike Tay is the owner) came up from Thumtack along with few others from other websites. I contacted them and they came in and provided me quotes. Mike was the last one I contacted. He arrived within 30min. He checked out the damages and explained to me what needs to get done sequentially to get everything back in proper operation for my tenants. Mike is very knowledgeable and very patient in explaining things. I told him what the plumber had said, he laughed and told me the whole thing was a rip off and a scam! Another crock of bull**** and advised me against it. He told me to call my insurance company to inquire about using other plumber. Sure enough I was offered the "cash out" option which I didn't even know was available. I took that option and went with Mike for the repair. Mike knows how important it is for my tenants to get the hot water running again once the water damage restoration company completed the clean up/dry out the area (took 1 week). As soon as that company removed their equipment, Mike had his crew come in the next day (Saturday) to repair the garage dry wall and finished the installation of the new water heater and brought it up to code on safety on Sunday! He even added the water pan and installed drain pipe for me. I didn't even know such a thing exists (talk about quality...he treats it like repairing his own home!). The best part is his charge for the whole job including new water heater, earthquake straps, valve, drain pan, vent and new connection is far way less than what that plumber was going to charge me. I loved the fact he took the time to show me how things should be done up to code and what works for my situation instead of just giving a price and walking away. He did an awesome job! Unfortunately my landlord insurance's deductible was so high, I asked Mike to give me a quote for fixing the damage in the garage and inside the house. Mike's quote was very competitive and the best part is he is always willing to work with me knowing my situation (thx Mike). My bathroom paint is 16 years old so it was a challenge to match the paint for the new wall. After only quoting me for painting a small wall inside the bathroom, Mike decided on his own to paint the entire bathroom without charging for it. Now that what I call TAKING PRIDE IN YOUR WORK AND STICKING TO YOUR WORD!!! My summary is, Mike successfully completed the entire job and installation in four days. I would highly recommend Mike to anyone and will definitely be using and referring him to everyone I know.
Im real estate property manager. I met Sal in 2010. Since then Ive always been impressed with his work. He has done many repairs and improvements such as installing new vinyl windows, including patio sliders. Ive had him install bathtub/shower enclosures, sinks, toilets, garbage disposers and water heaters. He has replace valves and faucets. He can frame walls, hang and finish drywall beautifully. Recently he installed a stove exhaust hood vent, including cutting the existing cabinets and venting it out the roof. He has hung interior and exterior doors. He can trouble shoot electrical problems, replace circuit breakers, install coax, HDMI and CAT5. Ive asked him to run new electrical and cable outlets and install TV braces and hang large TVs. I recently had a dishwasher leak in an upstairs apartment that damaged the ceiling below. Sal removed the old damaged ceiling. Ran fans to make sure everything was dry before he installed new drywall and insulation in the kitchen/dining area. He added a brace for a new ceiling fan, which he also installed. He matched the existing drywall texture and painted it. He also installed a new dishwasher upstairs. In addition to all of the above he can unclog drains big and small. This is only a partial list of his abilities; no job is too big or small. He's excellent at problem solving and Ive yet to find anything he cant do well. Most of all hes dependable, honest and fair, not to mention hes a Marine. I would highly recommend Sal.
We hired Mr. Sewer to inspect our sewer lines and hydro jet any that were clogged or showing any build up. They worked tirelessly for most of the day and when they left all lines were running smoothly. This is not the first time that I have worked with Mr. Sewer. I met them at a former company I worked for and will continue to use their services. Manuel and his team are complete professionals, work hard to please the customer and get the job done correctly. They are fair priced and will always work with the customer. I can't say enough good things about this company.
8am Christmas morning, ready to get a turkey dinner started for 40 people. The kitchen drain is stopped up with no water flow. Put in a request to Thumbtack and had Andrews bid within 20 minutes. I needed it cleared by noon. He was finished before 11:30am. And promised to come out again that day (Christmas) if the were any further problems. There were no problems. It was a great Christmas gathering. Thank You Andrew.
Eddie came out within 20 minutes and helped fix a clogged laundry drain. They double checked the kitchen sink drain was unclogged as well. Fair price and very clear and responsive. Will definitely use them again.
