I called Sam at Valley United Plumbing many time to do different works around the house, from repiping the two bathrooms with tub and facuet installation, installing a faucet in the kitchen, installing water filteration system, replacing the pressure regulator (15 years old), replacing my main water line from pvc to copper. Also, he added gas shut off safety switch for the gas meter in case of earthquake Sam does a great job every time. Besides, he always shows up on time and does a clean work. I'm a very satisfied customer. It was a pleasure working with Sam. He returned my call quickly, and setting up a time for the work, was easy. His charges were reasonable. He was courteous and professional. I highly recommend using him!

A plumber that actually cares! Just this one phrase is enough because if you live in LA and had to have plumbing done to your house before, you know the chances of you getting ripped or of someone doing a half-decent job are pretty high; and I know because I've gotten ripped off by a plumber before. Sam, on the other hand, is simply amazing! I've never seen such a meticulous, punctual, hard-working plumber in my life! I'm so grateful for the work he did on my kitchen and bathroom; and best of all, now I know who to turn to whenever I have any issues. What's also great is that he charged me only a fraction of what other plumbers did and for a much better quality job. Can you ask for more? What I also find interesting is the depth of detail he goes into when explaining to you a problem and offering possible solutions to the problem. Every time he worked in my house, he made sure that I fully understood what the issue was and that I was clear on my choices -- which I appreciate so much because I've encountered plumbers that are quite vague in explaining the situation, probably on purpose so that they can charge for more needless work. In other words, Sam cared about making sure that the problem is resolved the best possible way and that I was fully satisfied; and because of this, he's a gem and I'm very happy to have found him!

Sam replaced my water filter. He offered a reasonable price and provided excellent service. He was very professional and informative. Definitely recommend him for those with plumbing issues.

NO, I work with a flat rate price book. And you will know what you are going to pay before the job start.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, i have lots of certifications as well to go with all my studies and i attend meeting at local supply stores whenever a new item is out on the market.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I met a plumber back in 1999 in Simi Valley, California at a Gas station and i asked him if he is hiring, so he asked me to stop by the next day at 8am for interview. I went by the next morning at 6:30am because i didn't want to be late. At about 6:40am the owner saw me standing by the door and asked me "why are you here so early?" so i explained to him that i didn't want to be late. He looked at me with a hug smile on his face and said "YOU ARE HIRED" I worked for this great man for 9 years.
