Introduction: With over 20 years of professional experience as both an orchestral musician and chamber musician, Carol bases her dedication to teaching on the conviction that the arts are a powerful influence in a meaningful and creative approach to life. Having taught for 25 years students of all levels and ages, from children to adult learners, her focus is on a balanced study of repertoire, musicianship skills and realizing goals through performance and assessments. Her background studies include Martha Strongin Katz of The New England Conservatory and Heidi Castleman of The Julliard School of Music. Carol earned a BM in Viola Performance and is an active teacher in The Royal Conservatory of Music program, American String Teachers Association, and Music Teachers' Association of California, Certificate of Merit.
