Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I provide dog walking to the Mission District, Glen Park, and Bernal areas of San Francisco. I pick up your furry family member from your house, along with other doggie friends (6-8 dogs per group). We then go on a one-hour romp to John Mclaren Park or Bernal Park. I use only positive reinforcement with a variety of tasty, all-natural dog treats! Your pooch is then dropped back off at your house, happy and ready for a nap! I also provide boarding to the Bay Area and the Peninsula. Your dog is well loved, exercised daily, kept on their feeding schedule, and free to play and sunbathe in my fenced-in backyard. What dog doesn't like a country getaway? I am licensed, bonded, insured, and pet CPR and first aid certified. I'm a certified dog walker through DogTEC Dog Walking Academy of San Francisco. * My goal in life is to become as wonderful as my dog thinks I am*

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

The most common types of jobs my husband David and I do for Throw Me A Bone involves dog walking and dog boarding. We service the Mission District, Castro, Glen Park, and Bernal for our dogs walking clients. For boarding the pick up and drop off fees are included in our daily rate. We service most of the Bay Area and Penninsula for our dog boarding clients. Special rates are giving for owners boarding two dogs or more from the same household! Dogs who stay with us are treated as family. Spending their time in a friendly, clean, and dog friendly environment with access to a fenced in backyard, a selection of dogs beds and designated play areas.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If you are looking to hire a dog walker/ boarder defiantly meet with them to get a good feel for what kind of person they are. One of the most important aspects of this job is having a love for animals and providing them with the best care possible, while still letting dogs be dogs! I would make sure that they do not use forceful methods and strictly use all positive reinforcement . Don't be afraid to ask questions. If your dog does not like that person, there is a reason why!
