Introduction: My service stands out from other music schools and studios because I genuinely love helping students reach there dreams and goals in music in a fun and authentic way. What I like most about my teaching is that it doesn't feel like work. I enjoy seeing my students excel, knowing that I had a part in helping them reach their goals! The best feeling in the world!

Miss Raffia Ford provided voice lessons for my 8 year old daughter Kate about a year ago. The job was at Miss. Ford's house and the house was always looking nice. The lesson was 30 minutes long once a week. We called her Ms. Raffia instead of Ms. Ford. The lesson started with vocal warm ups, then Kate sang the song she learned the previous week during which Ms. Raffia would give her input and critics to help Kate control and hit the high notes. The lesson would usually end with the selection of a new song for the following lesson. Miss Raffia always help Kate pick the song that was appropriate for her voice and her age. Miss Raffia was always on time with her appointment, polite and welcoming. Miss Raffia helped with Kate more than just a voice lesson, she provided Kate with examples from her performing experience that helped Kate her stage present in live performance. Kate loves it when Miss Raffia show up at her recital. Unfortunately other circumstances caused us to stop the lesson with Miss Raffia. We can't wait to find another opportunity for Kate to come back to Music lesson with Miss Raffia Ford. Bellow is a link to video of Kate's latest performance at Towers Elementary Talent Show 2015 singing Tori Kelly's song All In My Head. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=em-upload_owner&v=phnmeCas9HU

I always thought I was just one of those people who couldn't sing. Though, I couldn't have been more wrong. Raffia has been able to guide me to a full understanding of my voice and how to use it. She is absolutely amazing! She constructs an environment free of stress and pressure that allowed my learning to flourish in the most enjoyable way. While maintaining this magnificently warm environment, she ushers you to become the best singer you can be. I look forward to my lesson with her every week and when in the lesson always find myself learning a great much and very happy while doing so. I couldn't have asked for a better teacher, coach, and friend. I highly doubt one even exists!

Raffia is an excellent teacher. I went to her for help with an audition song once, and she was so helpful and specific, she made me feel ready and prepared and of course nailed the audition :) I took a few private lessons with her in the months that followed, and each one was very productive, and I learned a lot. Shes great because she tailored my lesson to what was practical for me, as well as the fundamentals that she knew I would need. Very talented singer and teacher. :)

Raffia was my four year old grandson's (Taylor) piano teacher. From the very first day we entered her studio, she treated us with the utmost respect. I was so impressed on how well she worked with Taylor. She has a lot of patience and went out of her way to make sure we both understood his piano lesson. Taylor enjoyed going to see Ms Raffia to learn piano. He had a lot of fun. Without a doubt I would recommend Ms. Raffia to anyone who has a child considering taking Piano lessons. She is the greatest!!
