I was looking for an amazing at home meal for my husbands birthday and Chef Rocco delivered! He asked what we liked and built a great menu around our preferences. He allowed us to watch while he cooked and taught us so much about cooking and nutrition. Then he served us this amazing meal! It was cooked perfectly and the flavors and textures made every bite worth savoring. He cleaned the kitchen and disappeared during desert and left us to enjoy his home made tiramisu and berries. Superb!
Having Sat cook for my family of five has been nothing short of life-changing. I've been working out with John for a little over 2 months now and he's been amazing. He is very knowledgable about everything fitness, body-building, nutrition... He tailors the workout based on your goals and body. In my case, I wanted to put on some muscle. In our first meeting, he assessed what my strengths/weaknesses were and built me a workout plan based on it. He is also very quick to respond at any time of the day and also accommodates workouts based on your schedule(I travel a bunch). The workouts are super challenging but feels great when you are done. Definitely recommend him to anyone trying to hit their fitness goals.
Ive been working with John for little over a month and Ive seen results. Ive lost almost 10lbs. He is very responsive and answers all my questions. Im picky eater which makes it hard to come up with meal plan but he did and tailored to my food likes this way I dont feel like giving up. I recommend him if your looking for help with nutrition. He is responsive thru texts which is always helpful with my busy schedule. He also checks your food log which i like it keeps me honest and on top of it.
His knowledge and experience in the field of fitness. The various tools and equipment he exposed me to opened my eyes for new ways to becoming more fit. Since under his training my body fat percentage was lowered to 17.2% from 21.8% which was a main goal besides building muscle. Justin is AWESOME. Working with justin has been a lot of fun. Not only with strength trainining, but flexibility and core training with yoga and acroyoga with my girlfriend and I. I go to justin to boost my workouts and mix things up. I'm a functional movement based sports doctor and I can tell you that I'm impressed with Justin's approach to exercise and wellness. No matter how much you think you know, you'll still learn more, reach your goals faster, and benefit from seeing an experienced and knowledgeable trainer like Justin. He's also big on nutrition, which is fundamental to being and feeling healthy. His company Kula Wellness also does meal prep which is pretty cool. 5 stars!!
A little information about me. I've been overweight most of my life and have tried countless programs to lose weight and to regain my health. One thing I had never tried was personal training. In December 2016, I found Scott Meade through Thumbtack. Scott was the first Personal Trainer to respond to my inquiry. I felt an immediate connection with him. He invited me to meet him at the gym on a Sunday. He wanted to give me a tour of the gym and for us to have a casual chat. As an obese female, I was extremely nervous to meet him. He made me feel at ease and I appreciated the time he spent with me talking about his passions; exercise and nutrition. I sensed how genuine he was. His excitement is what jumpstarted my excitement to begin this journey with him. I started training with Scott on January 2nd. Here are just a few reasons why I need Scott besides me on this journey: 1) The guy knows his stuff. Not only is he physically fit, but he's also smart. He stays current in his field and never hesitates to share new information to help develop my knowledge. He doesn't just tell me what to do, he provides reasoning and teaches me along the way. 2) He believes in me more than I believe in myself. He never allows my mental blocks to stop me from doing my best. He's positive and encourages me to tap into my positive spirit. Not always easy. 3) He's responsive and organized. He stays on top of my nutrition and provides feedback on what I'm doing well and what I need to change. He doesn't sugar coat things because that's not how we achieve results. Totally makes sense. 4) He's creative with his workouts and thinks outside of the box. Workouts are never repetitious which helps keep me dialed in. I like the variety he incorporates in my plan. 5) When I'm in the gym with him, it's about ME. I could go on and on about Scott. If you're looking for a Personal Trainer, reach out and meet him. You won't regret it. Meeting Scott was one of the best things that happened to me.
I have been working with Natalie for about 6 weeks now and i can see great changes in my body. I have lost some pounds and inches and my energy level has increased overall. I would definitely recommend Armando for his depth of knowledge in both personal training techniques as well as comprehensive nutrition. After training with him over 6 months (kept renewing our contract), I can attest to all the new techniques I've learned from him that have greatly helped me in my weight loss and maintenance goals. After a great introductory phone consultation we met for a thorough intake that incorporated my medical history, genetic factors, goals and lifestyle and I took Dennis' recommendations for a variety of supplements. He guided me towards several other resources including a cost-saving online merchant where I purchase all of my vitamins and supplements. I started working with Colette in December of 2015 with the intent to enter a bikini competition. I needed help sculpting my body and losing that last bit of extra fat. She gave me a tailored meal plan based on the nutrition I needed and took into account the foods I did and didn't like. Its easy and clear to follow and my cravings are diminished. We meet regularly to check in on progress and workout together, and have a daily checkpoint on how everything is progressing. The moral support has gotten me through the emotional ups and downs of changing my body. I'm now one week away from my bikini competition, and I have never looked better in my life. Strangers stop me frequently in the gym and ask me "What's your secret?!" and I tell them it all comes down to healthy diet and a knowledgeable coach (and a dash of willpower!). I belong to a Gourmet Club and I had Tamara Predes from Soul Appetit prepare some nutritional food for us...it was incredible! She made some stuffed sweet potatoes that were outstanding. Her blood orange ice with lemon cashew cream is awesome!! I highly recommend her. Sharon Nunes
