Custom Cabinet Building - Fallbrook 2019
Photos and Videos
I am so happy with my new built in office space made by Woodcrest Custom Cabinetry! Randy was easy to work with, showed up when he said he would, and delivered beautiful cabinets! He understood my vision from our first contact and the final product is exactly what I hoped for! I will hire him again for my next home project!Nov 14, 2019
WoodCrest Custom Cabinetry does beautiful custom-designed, hand-crafted cabinets. The quality of their work is stunning!! They use REAL wood, not fiberboard. Plus, they build and install the cabinets themselves! When visitors see our beautiful, wall-to-wall bookcase, they immediately want to know who the builder was. Our built-in china cabinet that Randy made is awesome! It adds a sense of "old world" charm and quality that you just don't find in homes anymore. My only wish is that we had had some extra wall paint for a couple of areas that were uncovered during the construction process and needed re-painting. Randy would have painted them if we had had the paint - a true professional!Jan 1, 2020

The professionalism and beautiful pictures on the Woodcrest Custom Cabinetry advertisement postcard we received caught our eye. My wife and I had a design idea, budget, costs from our previous residence, and planned to get three estimates. Woodcrest was the first and only company we ended up contacting. Randy's promptness returning our initial phone call, kindness, and professionalism was refreshing. After a 20 minute initial phone call, Randy provided a vision of his design that exceeded our expectations and cost estimate that we believed was very fair. After this short discussion we felt he was a trustworthy and honest business man and more importantly person. Randy and his installation technician arrived on-time, had materials to protect our floors, and completed the install with no re-work required. It was more than just a cabinet design and installation. During the process my wife and I built a relationship with Randy and look forward to using Woodcrest again for future cabinetry!Aug 17, 2019

Randy is a craftsman. His attention to detail is a delight for his customers, and he is rare find in business today: He is a person of his word, a person of integrity! You will not be disappointed. Randy had the talent and persistence to stay in business for over 30 years. I've worked with other cabinetry companies, but Wood crest is the one to call--the only one on my list.Aug 20, 2019

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Well, every project we build is built specifically for each customer’s home to the design and decor of other features usually within their home. So our work becomes a one of a kind project which doesn’t allow us to enjoy economies of scale as mass furniture manufacturers can. Our prices are competitive and we make every effort to be reasonable.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I respond to all requests and ask several questions to get a clearer idea of the vision they have for their project. I have found that this allows both parties to start communicating and building trust in moving forward. I then schedule a meeting to gather all the specifics to provide an accurate estimate.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a fully licensed C-6 contractor specializing in finish carpentry and custom cabinetry. Wood working was my hobby for many years in which I was able to develop my skills by building projects for my own home, friends and relatives. Making a piece of furniture for a relative or close friend forces you to improve and refine your skills for fear of having to see what you built again and again over time. Not to mention, family and friends can be brutally honest and news travels fast. I never wanted to hear that my project was used as firewood!
