I was very pleased with the work Stephen and his team had done for my house. There were some broken roof tiles, and water was leaking in the garage. Stephen explained replacing the tiles would not prevent from water leaking again, because he found there were thick layers of debris from the pine tree. Without cleaning the valleys, the water will not run down the roof. Also, some windows needed to be sealed correctly. Bottom line, I feel he was really looking out for me to make sure the repair was not temporary. His price was very reasonable. He ended up doing a lot more work such as trimming the tree, pressured washing the roof, painting one corner of the wall near the window. Plus, he did not charge me more than he originally quoted. The other quotes I obtained from other contractors for just replacing the broken tiles were not much less. I highly recommend Mr. Fixit. I will hire him again for future repair/maintenance in a heartbeat.
i had 3 guys come to my home to give me a estimate he was the only guy that went under the home and really look what was going on he did a good job.thank you will deal with u again.moved the water heater from the kitchen to out side good job thank you.
Steve proved himself to be an excellent choice for me to have some home improvement work taken care. Within 10 minutes of placing my request on Thumb Tac, I had received a response from Steve with an estimate of how much it would cost to do the work site unseen. Within an hour he was onsite looking over the project; we were able to quickly negotiate a fair price to have the work done with Steve including the demolition and haul-away of a weathered wooden shed and the spa pump, heater, and other items stored within it. My primary request was to have a somewhat large, very weathered wood deck demoed and hauled away to a landfill/dump. Steve turned out to be an easy-going, personable, and exceptionally hard worker very knowledgeable in many areas of home improvement, construction and demolition. He carefully and expertly executed the demolition and haul away of the entire wood deck. – A lot of work. Steve worked his a$$ off to demo the deck and haul it away in an efficient, timely, and proper manner. As a result, I asked Steve to also provide a power wash to my house paying special attention to my very weathered front walkway pavers. Throughout the project Steve followed through on every promise and worked especially hard to bring out the best with the power washing of the pavers providing an exceptionally noticeable improvement after removing a lot of baked in dirt, grime, and fungus. There were a couple of times when Steve could not make it back to continue the work at the agreed upon time due to unexpected ‘life’ events, which I understand happens to all of us. However, even given a couple of unexpected hold-ups, he made it to the site every day, kept me in the loop with what was going on, and gave me a discount to compensate for the inconvenience and hold-up in getting to the site due to these interruptions. He went so far as to show up on a Sunday to coat and seal the newly power washed front walkway pavers. All-in-all, it was a great experience working with Steve. He was reliable, a hard worker, very proficient and knowledgeable, and very competitively priced. I look forward to having him back for other home improvements in the near future. Thanks for a great job, Steve! -Bob
The time had to be moved to the right multiple times due to the delivery of the water heater but overall quality and communication was good.
We had a relief Valve leak. We had for weeks. My husband wanted to Purchase a new water heater thinking it needed to be replaced. Tyler diagnosed it prior to coming out. Showed up right away on Dec23 rd. Fixed the problem . Pricing was incredible. Will definitely call them again.
Aire rite came to our home for only $20 (on a Sunday) and after inspecting our water heater throughly (we had no hot water) determined that we needed a new gas valve. Our technician (David) gave us all our options and even worked with us on the price. The company did not have the part in stock but they put a rush order on it and they were back in our home installing the new part on Tuesday morning. We are 100% satisfied with their service. Very friendly, professional and reasonably priced. We would DEFINITELY use them again if needed and would also recommend them to anyone in need.
Hired Jesse to remove a water softener and add new hose bib. Gave us a fair estimate and even gave us some advice about a circulation pump on our water heater that wasn't plugged in and working properly. Very happy with his work and will recommend him to friends and family. P. Meza
I called Bob to get a quote for water heater pipe leak. After describing the problem, Bob gave me an quick estimate. He came out within couple hours later to fix the leak. While performing the repair, Bob called to let me know it would be an additional $30 to replace the shut off valve. The cost of the entire repair was exactly what he had quoted me. I was very happy with the service and repair. I would highly recommend Muller Plumbing Services.
Jesus, All Pro Plumbing, removed and replaced a defective water heater. The service that he provided could not have been better. He was very knowledgeable, very professional, and he did a great job. I would engage All Pro...specifically requesting Jesus...anytime when I have plumbing needs. And, I wouldn't hesitate to refer All Pro
Im real estate property manager. I met Sal in 2010. Since then Ive always been impressed with his work. He has done many repairs and improvements such as installing new vinyl windows, including patio sliders. Ive had him install bathtub/shower enclosures, sinks, toilets, garbage disposers and water heaters. He has replace valves and faucets. He can frame walls, hang and finish drywall beautifully. Recently he installed a stove exhaust hood vent, including cutting the existing cabinets and venting it out the roof. He has hung interior and exterior doors. He can trouble shoot electrical problems, replace circuit breakers, install coax, HDMI and CAT5. Ive asked him to run new electrical and cable outlets and install TV braces and hang large TVs. I recently had a dishwasher leak in an upstairs apartment that damaged the ceiling below. Sal removed the old damaged ceiling. Ran fans to make sure everything was dry before he installed new drywall and insulation in the kitchen/dining area. He added a brace for a new ceiling fan, which he also installed. He matched the existing drywall texture and painted it. He also installed a new dishwasher upstairs. In addition to all of the above he can unclog drains big and small. This is only a partial list of his abilities; no job is too big or small. He's excellent at problem solving and Ive yet to find anything he cant do well. Most of all hes dependable, honest and fair, not to mention hes a Marine. I would highly recommend Sal.
I have found Bill Chafee of OneCall2 to be honest and well qualified in mold inspection and removal for several reasons. I've had 3 appointments with Bill Chafee and each time he arrived on time or early for our appointment offering his best smile. He listened well and responded to each of my questions articulately. Another mold inspector (Shegun of Pure-r Space) had told me I had wet mold under my hall bath which he determined by drilling a hole in the wall and using a cable cam to take photographs which he said would be in his report. I called my insurance company and an inspector came out and was waiting on Shegun's photographs and report to proceed but the photographs were not forthcoming. Suspicious, I told Bill Chafee of my plight and he performed his own inspection using thermal imaging and visual inspection. Bill Chafee's report stated: Nothing was found, other than calcium deposits from concrete No water stains to indicate previous damage, and No microbial growth (mold). He allowed me to view in the hole to see for myself once he determined I would not be exposed to mold. He provided photographs of the area to me the next day in a professionally-written report of his findings. Bill Chafee commented on the kitchen mold removal performed by Pure-r Space saying: It is clear that the IICRC S500 guidelines for the removal of mold was in violation. Example, complete containment area of work, to include a clean room. not topically treating visual mold before removing contaminated ares, not aspirating affected wall and fogging behind with an anti microbial in order to treat mold spores behind the wall, thus limiting the possibility of spreading mold spores through the entire house. Proper conduct of mold remediation should have been. contain area, with a clean zone, use Hepa filtration to evac contaminated area. topically treat exposed area, aspirate wall fog with an anti microbial, molded materials are considered hazardous waste and should be double bagged in industrial waste bags and disposed of properly with waste management. After remediation was performed, a clearance test with certification should have been performed and a final clean of all area's cleaned with an anti microbial cleaner. I now understand why my lungs feel worse after the kitchen mold treatment procedure by the other company and wish that I could go back in time and have chosen OneCall2 instead and had my mold removed properly. I am so glad Bill Chafee inspected the hall bath area and found it did not need treatment before I acted further believing the other company's claims of wet mold. Also, a flood company confirmed no moisture in that area by thermal imaging. I have learned the hard way the importance of making sure that any contractor hired is currently licensed in good standing, certified, and insured. Bill Chafee's current qualifications are California Gen B 987118, IICRC 150594. His certifications include water, odor's,and microbial remediation, lead (state) Masters certificate in Goldmorr remedial products. I am grateful to know Bill Chafee of OneCall2 and recommend him for the reasons stated above.
steve orozco answered my request about a water leak from my attic furnace promptly, and followed up w/ hands on inspection and diagnosis. his proposed solution seemed correct and economical and he answered my questions satisfactorily. he installed the new evaporative coil unit within 48 hours of the inspection and the AC has been fine for three days. I am hopeful that it will be fine for years to come. august 16, 2016
Steve was great he showed up to set a water heater and I added more work on him . He knocked it out and now I'm having him work on more projects Thanks steve
Our pantry ceiling collapsed from a flood of water coming from our attic. Jay quickly identified the problem as a plugged condensate line from the attic air conditioning unit. Jay flushed the line quickly and charged a reasonable fee. Jay also referred us to the restoration contractor who dried our pantry and replaced the damaged insulation, drywall, and ceiling. I would definitely hire Jay again. In fact, we did hire Jay to replace our hot water heater and water pressure regulator valve and turn-off valve leading into our house.
Tino was fantastic! He replaced my hot water heater yesterday and he was thorough, he kept us informed of what he was doing, he was patient while I asked a lot of questions. He definitely knows what he is doing. Lastly, he is really a nice person - very kind and polite. We are delighted. Tino is not only a highly skilled plumber, but he provides amazing service.
He understood how to handle Quest piping, which not everyone does. He was very professional which helped me feel more comfortable about having a guy working in my home so late at night by myself. Also, he's the one I talked to and he's the one who showed up - another big bonus. It's frustrating when you get one person on the phone but then someone else & clueless shows up at your house. He showed up prepared so I didn't have to wait for him to go get parts or anything, a huge plus compared to past experiences with other plumbers. He was smart enough to ask me all about what was going on before coming so he knew what the problem most likely was & was ready for it. I've had very bad experiences in the past with bogus estimates and mid-project surprise inflated bids. His estimate was clear and simple, easy to understand and affordable. I'm glad I hired him for this crazy surprise leak and was delighted to have a worry-free hot shower the next morning. :)
Had a water leak, tech , came at the time quoted. Fixed it, cleaned up and was professional in every way.
Rick did an outstanding job replacing our water heater. He did an awesome job!
Saturday morning, and the discovery of a water heater going south... never a good way to start a weekend. But by 4pm the same day, problem solved! First I stumbled onto Thumbtack, which I'd never heard of before. And once I submitted my request, in flowed responses from five local Service Companies. Of the five, R&R caught my interest because they took the time to ask for specifics. They texted for more detailed information and a photo of my water heater. After sending that, they provided a competitive quote, identified the brand of water heater they recommend and install, and said they could have it installed same day! All of this communication happened in 30 minutes. Awesome! By mid-afternoon, Ryan showed up, assessed the situation and explained, in detail, the process he would go through and how long it would take. When he finished up, he explained the operation of the new unit, buttoned everything up, and hauled off the old heater. Just an awesome experience from my standpoint! I can't praise the whole operation enough! Thank you R&R, and thank you Ryan!
I can't recommend Agape Waters enough! We had several quotes, one for double what he asked. My husband had purchased a tankless heater that he was going to install and Freddie was super helpful in helping us understand that it was the wrong size and we were going to go through a bunch of headache to take cold showers. He was there within the week, right on time with helpers and did the whole install of a great new heater on the exterior so it was safer and we ended up with more storage! The work was beautiful, even my engineer perfectionist husband who does a ton of our house projects was thrilled. Do yourself a favor and get a tankless water heater!
Justin ran a water line across the top of my garage, inside, and put a water faucet on the outside of the far side of the garage. His work is exceptional. He cleaned up after he was finished. It was a nice piece of work. It has made watering the front so much easier.
