FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely. I just returned (Mar 2-6, 2014) from a five-day, twelve-session series of conference classes, at WPPI (Wedding Portrait Photographers International, of which I am a member) in Las Vegas, where I took classes in business & marketing, hybrid wedding technologies, wedding filmmaking, mastering wedding audio, alternatives to wedding filmmaking, and more, taught by some of the most well-known wedding filmmakers & photographers in the world. It was a fantastic experience, and I'm a firm believer in the notion that our education is on-going, and never complete. Technology is constantly evolving, so we cannot rest when there are always new ideas and technologies that we might employ in our craft!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I actually hired other people to shoot video for me, and found I was not satisfied with the quality of their work. I knew I was capable of producing higher quality work, and that motivated me to get started.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have done a variety of video, serving different needs for different clients. Although wedding films are now my primary focus, I have worked on video for performing musical artists, family history videos, memorial photo montages, kid's sporting events, business product demonstrations, and product evaluation videos.
