I joined Tamara's belly dancing classes for fitness and fun and I even attended her yoga stretching classes. I am extremely pleased with the classes and her support and encouragement. Wish I could have joined before. Thank you so much tamara. She is a great guide .

    I tried "Pilates with Kristan" after being referred by a friend. I was nervous because I am not very flexible and I do not usually do Pilates. I chose the private in-home sessions. Kristan was so professional throughout my entire experience. She came into my home with her own equipment and got right to work. She asked me what my concerns were and what I felt my weaknesses and strengths were. She actually listened and did not come with a pre-planed one-size-fits-all workout. She actually put together a workout that was specifically for me, based on my concerns, strengths, and her own professional assessment of my body! It was a wonderful experience! She moved slowly with me and made sure I understood the movements before moving to the next movement. She has such a great personally and is very personable. I HIGHLY recommend "Pilates with Kristan" to anyone who wants to experience an amazing workout that leaves your body craving more. I Love it!! Thank you Kristan!

      Maddie Gougeon helped me obtain my personal fitness goals. I continue to work with Maddie as I set new goals. I've been a part of Maddie's fitness program for nearly 3 years.       Shawn McClain is, hands down, the best physical therapist I've ever used (and I've used many). A compression fracture of the spine has left me in need of pain management and manual physical therapy. Every patient is different, but my outcomes with Shawn were excellent. I've also taken Shawn's yoga and Pilates classes, and they too were excellent. Shawn is a master of her craft and a superlative practitioner of the healer's arts. Most highly recommended.

I received my certification through Romana's Pilates in 2011, and I am a 3rd-generation instructor with a training lineage stemming directly from the founder of Pilates, Joseph Pilates. I worked and studied at a Pilates certification center in Chicago and had the opportunity to study with many master professionals of the Pilates method. Most of my experience is working with individuals with goals of losing weight, body toning and increasing flexibility and strength. My wide array of clientele includes individuals who turn to Pilates as part of a post-rehab regimen, as well as athletes and physically active individuals who turn to Pilates to improve their athletic abilities, return to their activities post injury or looking to utilize Pilates to remain injury free. I am also a TRX qualified trainer and Indo Row certified instructor.

I can teach a wide range of clients and patients with my degree in kinesiology from USC; diversity is my middle name!
