Paul Grether is a very talented musician and teacher and a great person. He is wonderful with kids. He is sweet, smart, motivational, caring and funny. My 9 year old son loves him and loves his guitar lessons. He gave up tennis to have two guitar lessons a week. Paul is so affordable to top it off that we are able to afford two one hour lessons a week. I am thrilled to pieces. Anyone would be lucky to have guitar lessons with Paul.
We have a child diagnosed with slight autism. We decided to get a private teacher at home due to the experience of a teacher bullying him in a music school located in Chino. Mr. Garcia has all the patience in teaching our son and he knows how to adjust his teaching lessons with him. Our son is always excited to get music lessons with him. Mr. Garcia is also teaching our 18 y/o daughter guitar. And she is always happy and contented with his teaching techniques. Thank you for doing a great job with my children.
Chris is patient and personable. Easy to work with. My son is 11 and very picky and shy. He loves Chris and learning guitar under his instruction.
My nephew and I are both taking lessons. Mrs.B is very professional and polite and works well with both children and adults!
Kevin is the best guitar teacher out there who gave me the tools I needed to go on to be a Music Major. He works with your goals as a starting or experienced musician and explains and helps with everything so well. He goes out of his way and really made guitar lessons a highlight of my day. HIGHLY recommended!
At the age of 9 my son Julian started to take group guitar lessons from Pat. After that session I ask Pat if he does private lessons, he said yes but its at La Puente. So from Chino Hills I took my son to La Puente every Saturday for the next 5 years. He is very good with kids and I highly recommend him. My son now 18 enjoys writing songs & performing.
I take my daughter and son for Piano and guitar lessons to Mrs. Annette and she is a wonderful instructor who is always so kind and patient with each child. We adore her and would recommend her to everyone!!!
Steve is a wonderful teacher. When I started lessons I had been playing for a while but I needed guidance on where to go from just basic chords and strumming patterns. Steve tailored my lessons to the genres I wanted to study while giving me exercises that would better my study no matter what direction I chose to go. We even started coupling the guitar lessons with banjo lessons! Steve is well versed in so many genres and instruments and on top of that, he is a friendly, patient and fun person who communicates well and is easy to get along with.
Juan is awesome and really seems to love the art of teaching. He can explain a technique and then play examples on his guitar. Just my first lesson but I really am looking forward to the next one !!!
Jason is awesome. It started out with my daughter taking lessons from him, now it's both of us. First of all, my daughter Lauren is 5 years old. 5. Literally just started Kindergarten. She can't read - but she can do a power chord. That's all due to Jason's help. It takes serious patience to teach a five year old how to play guitar. Not just patience... but Jason is a pleasure to have in our home. He's great with my daughter. And... great at teaching an adult too. I've only been playing guitar for a few months, but people think I've been at it a while.
I have been with Bella Music Studios for five years now, and cannot begin to describe what a wonderful experience I've had with everyone there. I've been with various studios and teachers and theater troupes before, and none of them have felt more like a legitimate family than Bella Music Studios. The owner, Jo Ann Maddalena, is the kindest person you could ever hope to meet. She wrote me a beautiful reference letter when I applied (and got into) a performing arts school in Hollywood. I've had two different vocal teachers there (April Orchard and Jean Carlos Lopez) and both of them were patient and talented and made me a better performer than I ever was before. I've had such a wonderful experience at Bella that Jo Ann recently decided I was ready to try teaching voice there myself! I'm still new to it, but I've had one client there, and it's been so rewarding. I practically lived at Bella Music Studios for three summers, and it's like a second home by now. I was in three shows with their theater troupe, and they were all professional level performances that I had so much fun doing. Bella Music Studios is a fantastic place, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality, well-priced music lessons of any kind for any age. Whether you're looking for voice, piano, guitar, trumpet, etc. you're getting the best of the best here.
I have been taking guitar lessons from Brian for a couple of years and I am very pleased. I am in my late 50s and took lessons from several instructors and learned mostly power chords and memorized some riffs. With Brian I have progressed to a thorough understanding of the pentatonic and major scales allowing me to solo and improvise. Brian is very knowledgeable and adaptable to my learning style. He has incorporated other reference materials I have in addition to recommending references he is familiar with.
He is a great teacher! I love getting lessons from him. I understand music better because of his teaching, and I also know how to play guitar now! Thanks! :)
I am a left-handed guitar instructor. This is very important to a person learning the guitar for one simple reason -- you see exactly how you are supposed to play a guitar chord or the positioning of your fingers. I've had students who have gotten lessons from guys who are far more advanced than I am, but when they are taught by a left-handed person, they have all said this one thing: "I see exactly what I'm supposed to play." Ideally, this makes learning much easier and faster. Most of all, if you don't learn, I don't get paid; it's that simple.
I learn how to play the guitar through chords, scales, music theory, and songs from a working musician. Many genres are available as well as lessons for beginners all the way to intermediate players.
I do not teach traditional guitar lessons, I teach all genres. I do not teach note reading, I use tabs. I do not have anyone learn a style of music they do not particularly care for. Music is an expression of yourself, you tell me what you want to learn!
The first lesson is free, the followup lessons are $20
I teach the basic fundamentals of guitar and bass, electric and acoustic. My lessons are to teach people the freedom and creativity of music to expand their musical talents (of all ages).
I will show you how to jam with anybody, rhythms, leads, harmonies, and in-depth improvisations, and I will teach keys and scales that are fundamental to being able to learn, play, and create music.
I've been teaching guitar for the past 10 years. Currently, I have a bachelor of music and can teach in the style of classical, rumba, and popular rock music.
I teach students life lessons along with technical skills on the guitar.
