Introduction: I am a singer-songwriter who has been performing originals and covers for almost a decade. I'm a multi-instrumentalist with years of training in jazz saxophone and piano before I became a self-taught guitarist, vocalist, and mandolin player. I studied music theory at the University of California, Santa Cruz while simultaneously earning a degree in Psychology. During my senior year, I earned a Community Excellence award for doing music therapy with children at a local farm as part of a curriculum I was developing (one of the most rewarding musical experiences I've had). I self-released a collection of original songs written prior to and during my time at UCSC called "I Am But a Stranger Here" in 2018, leading to a tour of the West Coast in 2019 and playing at venues from Seattle to San Diego, including opening at the Whiskey A Go Go in Los Angeles. Today, I'm living in the culturally and musically rich hills of Laurel Canyon to record a studio album, and connect personally with its history (The Eagles' and Jimi Hendrix's former homes are directly next door). Before this, I was living in the heart of Silicon Valley and had a summer placement at one of the Valley's most prestigious hotels. As California began to open back up this year, I've had the opportunity to write and record a custom engagement song, perform at numerous beautiful weddings, play at The Clancy Hotel in San Francisco with my percussionist, and collaborate with renowned Grammy-nominated composer Isaac Phillips (not to mention the other acclaimed musicians, including Ilana Blumberg). I'm able to accommodate myself to COVID guidelines for any event, and respect your privacy, especially for the celebrity clients I've played for. Additionally, I come fully equipped with a PA system that can self-power -- no event is too big or too small. You'll find me easy to work with and that I have a very wide selection of songs and genres for you to choose from -- professionalism and giving my performances my full attention and heart are top priorities. My repertoire includes classic rock, Top 40s, pop, jazz, country/western, indie rock, folk, '90s music, contemporary originals, and more. I curate my setlist to your event and take requests for most songs, with some songs needing one week's advance preparation.
