Michelle has over 5 years of experience as a chef. She has worked with organic, farm to table cafes and catering companies, as well as, privately, hosting her own pop-up dinners in town and cooking for clients in- home for on-going services and parties of up to 40. She also is the weekly on-site chef for a non-profit retreat on Kauai every 6 months.
To Michelle, cooking is art. When she creates in the kitchen, her mindfulness is a blend of nutrition, complexity in flavors as well as a physical beauty in the finished product. Her focus in her work is to make the entire experience for her clients a pleasure-filled one. She has often heard similar reviews from clients of "rising the vibration of a room with her food." ... |"I believe that when we eat good, healthy and delicious food, we are able to not only connect with ourselves on a deeper level (i.e to know what foods make us feel good and what foods do not, as well as to slow down and to be more mindful in general) but we most importantly find that we can connect with those around us. That is what it is all about for me: sharing in a beautiful experience with the ones who surround us."|
