- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When starting with a new customer, I always do a full fitness evaluation- going over all the basic moves, proper form and my expectations on how they should be performed. I also get all of their measurements, weight and goals they'd like to achieve so we have a baseline and one way to monitor their progress. I also like to put them thru a few fitness "tests" to have an additional way for me to track their progress and also get an understanding of what we are working with. Based on this full assessment, I create a program that will slowly progress them, with goals to check in along the way.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a NASM Certified Personal trainer and also hold certifications with Training for Warriors and Fitranx.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Outside of every single person I know telling me I would be an amazing trainer, I realized that while I loved what I was doing (interior design), my true passion was fitness and I really wanted to help others achieve their goals with the tools that I learned on my journey.
