Introduction: Although Pilates may definitely leave one feeling shaky and worked, my approach differs in the sense that my goal is to eliminate pain and discomfort before attempting to work the body to its limit. Often, by knowing exactly what a body needs, even the smallest movement can exhaust it. We call this the invisible workout. The body responds much faster this way. It is very effective and much safer. I love the variety of the clients needs, as well as the variety of the Pilates method. Every single person is different and has different goals. Pilates can be modified to become less or more advanced according to the demands of the clients. This makes it fun, challenging, different, interesting and a constant learning process for everyone involved.

My husband and I began training with Lori about a year ago. She is hands down one of the best Pilates instructors we have worked with. She always asks how your body is feeling before a workout begins to ensure she understands where to place more focus and what to avoid. She does a great job mixing up workouts. No two are the same. She always has a plan before we start. But if you need a day that is more stretching and laid back, that's what you get. However, if you are ready for a challenge, she will push you to the max. She really listens and understands the body, so she is able to ensure you get the best and safest workout. Lori is passionate about she does which makes working out with her very enjoyable. We highly recommend Lori.

Not only is Lori a Pilaties instructor but she also understands and is well educated on the body and it's movement. It's not just some class you show up to. She will ask every time how your body is feeling and if you have any pain or soreness. Workouts are designed each time specifically for your individual goals. Always on time and ready to work hard is something I really appreciate in an instructor. It's been almost 3 years now and I have yet to find anyone who will constantly watch, alter and correct my form. I wasn't even getting close to this attention to detail at a high end physical therapy studio. My flexibility has greatly improved along with my education of my own body. I highly recommend Lori if you are serious about taking your workouts and flexibility to the next level.

Lori is amazing!! I have been working out with Lori for about 6 years. She is a wonderful instructor!! She is very knowledgeable, patient, and kind...and is really fun! I fell in love with Pilates because of Lori. I had asthma as a child and never took deep breaths because l was afraid, so exercise was out of the question for me. So there I was 29, 5'6" 108 lbs and still never filling my lungs and still felt I didn't need to exercise. My body, however, was telling me other wise. Because of my high stress job in the fashion industry, I was in dire need of flexibility, to destress, and to breathe. After my first session I was hooked!! My body felt unbelievable!! Lori really knows what she is doing and is so detail oriented! She cared about me as an individual and hepled me reach so many of my goals!! I tell everyone about Lori, because Pilates changes lives! Now, my body knows how to relax, at the same time it is strong, toned, flexible, and now I love to breathe!!*:)

I am a 65 year old woman and have done Pilates with Lori for the past three years. I started in a group mat class but decided I wanted to try one on one training with Lori. The experience has far surpassed my expectations as I continue to take multiple classes earch week. I love Lori's training as she always keeps in mind how your body is feeling. Lori's studio is super clean and every class is totally different and fun. If anyone is thinking of physically bettering themselves give Lori a call; you will not be disappointed!

Lori helped to extend my skateboarding career by a decade. Her knowledge of beginning to advanced Pilates techniques surpasses other instructors in her field. She focused on form & alignment rather than rushing through each exercise, thus maximizing the benefits of every session. She was always punctual , patient and motivating. I would recommend her to anyone looking for an experienced, and knowledgable instructor.
