I have worked with Clyde for a few months and I can truly say that it has been beneficial. Clyde is very knowledgeable and provides a great amount of information when it comes to work outs and fitness. Prior to working with Clyde I was not able to run a mile without giving in and stopping, but now I can run a mile with no problem. Cardio has always been my least favorite, but now I can honestly say it is not that bad thanks to working out with Clyde. I have a greater understanding and knowledge base of what it is going to take for me to meet my weight loss goals since working with Clyde. I have lost about 20 pounds and my percentage of body of fat has gone down. I have definitely seen the results and appreciate how Clyde has helped me through my journey. Clyde is a great trainer and anyone who has the opportunity to work with him will be very satisfied with the end results.
Last winter I was fortunate enough to meet Paul and start my physical training program. I approached Paul with the lack of motivation to push myself to the level I desired. I wanted drastic results. I was ready to sculpt my body into top shape after having my second child. Although I am accustomed to weight training and competed in Division I college sports, I was a novice to Paul's style of training. I am constantly challenged by his weight training workouts which are infused with explosive squats, plyometrics, and sprints to name just a few. After six weeks, I had achieved more than I would have thought possible. The benefits included: a substantial drop in body fat (my leanest yet), increased overall body strength and energy, accelerated stamina, stabilized mood after recently having a baby, and sound sleep. After two years, I still look forward to each workout, and prepare for each session like I am pitching in the college world series, as he continuously keeps me guessing by introducing new skills and methods to keep my interest.
Why does one pay money to have someone else cause physical exhaustion, fatigue, and suffering? Because it's good for you! The trainers at SBT are excellent and definitely push you out of your comfort zone. Sometimes, a workout can feel a bit long when performing four sets consisting of 20 rep combos of three different patterns, so my wife and I prefer three sets to get a more varied workout (even if we are working the same muscle groups). This helps keep us from being bored during the workout and losing motivation. Our primary trainer is Josh, the owner of this fine establishment. He has a good sense of where his clients' comfort zones are and how to push beyond while still ensuring that they enjoy the workout. He regularly inquires about any tightness or consistent discomfort we may be experiencing in order to prevent pulls or tears. At one point, my wife's IT band tightened up after doing many squats and lunges, so he helped her massage it out and provided some guidance for relieving pain over the next couple of days. The trainers at SBT are also about more than just the workouts. They provide nutrition advice, and tips for general dietary wellness. It is clear that their goal is for you to achieve your goal, and they first determine that by sitting down with you and having a conversation about what it is that you want to accomplish. Day 1 consists of a standard set of exercises that will assess your general state, but will leave you sore for a day or two. In general, most of the workouts have left at least one region of muscles sore. However, after having been there for eight visits so far, the workouts have gotten less painful but are still effective and exhausting. One of the best perks about SBT is the flexibility that they exhibit with workouts. You basically can come any time that you would like, and there will always be at least two trainers there. They try to give you a consistent experience by pairing you with a trainer that will be there for most of your anticipated visits, but any trainer can give you a good workout. If you miss some visits, they will either let you make them up, roll them over to the next month, or even refund you if you miss too many. They are very affordable, too, with nice facilities. Really, you can't go wrong as far as value and quality of experience goes.
I have been training with Kathleen for a little under a year and she has helped me tremendously! She is caring, patient and determined to make your workout the best for your needs not hers. I have a specific back problem that she is very patient with and will always make sure that whichever workout we do my back is stabilized. She also will thoroughly explain certain exercises to ensure why it is so important to keep your form correctly, which I personally appreciate since I am still learning how to workout safely without harming myself. If you are looking for a trainer who knows EVERYTHING from nutrition to great workouts she is perfect! I love working out with her because she is constantly helping me improve myself and motivates me to stay on track for my own health. Kathleen really has the best interest at heart...but do not let that fool you. She can really put you to work!
Since I began working out with Corey, my energy level has been at an all time high. I am eating more, but making better food choices. I have been lucky in being able to bring my baby along to the workouts. If I am in the middle of say,a plank, or full sit ups, Corey will distract my daughter and play with her while keeping a close on on me. That is a bonus in itself! I enjoy our outdoor/ beach workout locations and his "tough love " approach with my eating habits. I look forward to continue working out with him! Alex, Laguna Niguel
Aaron is a very motivational workout trainer/partner. He is extremely knowledgeable regarding different workout techniques and activities tailored for different body types and goals you'd like to reach. He not only instructs you, but teaches along the way. Aaron also provided me with great nutrition tips and even went grocery shopping with me. Working out with him did not feel like a chore, he made sure to make it fun. With Aaron, I looked forward to working out, we did everything from free weights, plyometrics, boxing, and sprints. It was nice to have a trainer who actually knew what he was doing and didn't charge a ridiculous amount to hire!
If you want results, Hi-C – Fitness is the place to obtain your fitness goals. I’ve been a member of Hi-C – Fitness since January 2016. Before becoming a member I weighed 240 pounds and now I’m down to a lean 210 pounds. I had issues with my cardio and endurance, which Hillary helped me improve on. By doing so, it helped me push my limits by allowing me to work out harder. The techniques that Hillary applies to her workout routines are unique and caters towards the individual, which ultimately produces results. I highly recommend Hi-C – Fitness if you are serious about your health and fitness.
I've had the pleasure of working with James Hanton this past year. Through a diverse series of workouts with varied intensities, he helped me reach my goals of improved fitness and weight loss. James's experience and assorted skills made our workouts challenging and fun. I welcome the chance to work with James, again.
Peak is a great facility in Buena Park with world class training! The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. The facility is equipped with all the essential weights and cardio equipment. My experience so far has been excellent!
Maxwell was my personal trainer for a little over a year. During that time, I totally rediscovered fitness and had a fun time getting into really great shape. I met with him 2-3 times per week and each workout kept me guessing. We did tons of fun stuff in the gym - kettlebell work, traditional weight lifting, plyometrics, agility & flexibility stuff. He didn't just tell me what to do - he taught me HOW to do it, and WHY we were doing it. Also, Maxwell was fun and easy to work with. He was not intimidating at all & he's completely nonjudgmental. I always felt super comfortable working with him - which was difficult, since when we first started training together, I was new to the gym experience and felt very weak and unsure of myself. I always was scared of weight lifting because I didn't want to look 'manly'. I could not have been more wrong! I've honestly never been happier with my body. Maxwell's encouragement to lift heavy and work out intensely helped me become passionate about going to the gym and actually enjoying it. Based on his suggestion, I started competing in local NPC Bikini competitions and just walked away with 2nd place at the Colorado Open!! I could not have gotten this far without his excellent coaching and his personal passion for fitness. It was contagious, and I strongly recommend him to anyone.
Ive been a fitness enthusiast for over 10 yrs. I was looking for a local trainer in Irvine who not only had extensive experience but who also practiced what he preached and would help me "push the limit". I always considered myself in excellent shape having weight trained extensively along with heavy martial arts training, aerobic kickboxing and other cardio activity. After the first workout I knew that the routine that Hugo had in mind was unlike any other training program I've been through (and that says a lot). I've worked with Senior and "Master-level" trainers at large major health clubs including Equinox, Sports Club and 24 Hr. not one of their workouts matched the intensity and comprehensive format of Hugo Elite Fitness. Another common thing I noticed is how non-personalized not only the routines but how most trainers (not all but most) really don't seem to take a personal interest in ensuring your achieving your goals. Hugo Llamas is actually proactive rather than reactive in ensuring you're on the right track. Whether your goal is to lose weight, pack on lean mass or gain a chiseled physique you must PUSH yourself hard in the gym and continue to push yourself in small increments each and every day in order to really achieve your goals - sorry folks no shortcuts! This is what Hugos fitness training foundation is based on and what has helped me achieve my fitness goals over the past 6 months. Iv'e always been in excellent shape but now I'm in the best shape of my life @ 33. But just as important the time you spent OUTSIDE the gym eating, resting and recuperating makes all the difference in the world. For the first time Hugo made me record a daily log online of foods that I ate which was tedious at the beginning, but it's amazing what you learn and what you can gain from always being cognizant of what you put in your body and how it impacts your physique and conditioning. All in all training w/them has been an excellent experience and I recommend Hugo Llamas to anyone at any fitness level trying to achieve their fitness goals.
I've been attending Lisa's workout classes for about a year now. She teaches cardio cross x which combines old school aerobics, plyometrics, kickboxing, strength training, and core workout! She has 30+ years of experience under her belt and teaches other styles of workout such as Pilates, body sculp, and more. She is an amazing instructor and friend. She knows everything about how the mind and body work. She's gone out of her way and stayed late to give advice on workout related questions I've had. She's amazing at what she does and I would highly recommend you to attend her classes. She brings great energy and will help bring our the best in you. Her classes are challenging and will push you to your limits. It will leave you wanting to come back for more! Guaranteed!.
At the beginning of the year I decided to hire a trainer to help me achieve my goal of losing 10lbs and becoming a faster runner. I found Susie onThumbtack and hired her soon after speaking with her. Susie was my trainer for 5 months. In those few months Susie put together a diet that helped me lose almost 15 lbs and she helped me make healthier food choices. I only worked out with her twice a week but she made sure we maximized our time and kept me focused. Susie motivated me constantly. She knew how intimidated I was with many of the machines and the free weight area of the gym so she made sure to incorporate different equipment during our sessions so that I would be familiar with how to use them once I decided to work independently. Susie also incorporated interval training and plyometric excercises to help me with speed on my runs. Since I began working with her my average pace has improved dramatically. Susie was exactly what I had hoped for in a trainer. She is both professional and knowledgeable. She far exceeded my expectations.
I have been working with Dillon for a few months now and he has been incredibly professional and has worked tirelessly to gel me reach my goals. We focused on plyometric and body weight training initially and lately have been doing some moderate strength training. He motivates me to push myself and provides awesome feedback and pointers to get the most out of my workouts. I would strongly recommend this trainer!
I've been training under Ticia's guidance for two years. During that time she has trained me with a variety of moves which keeps my body challenged. The workouts have included; plyometrics, cardio such as hiking, kettle ball workouts, free weights, weight machines, running hills & stairs and body weight excercises. Ticia has created meal plans and inspired me to learn meditation. She is basically my life coach, trainer, therapist and friend. Someone who can in one way or another relate to my life needs and goals.
Shane helped me tremendously with corrective work for my flat feet as well improved my surfing skills which is why I sought out training to begin with. He also started me on a great path to enhanced wait training and plyometrics.
As an already-established fitness addict, I was running out of new and challenging exercises for my strength sessions. Avis restructured my entire training program by incorporating slower movements and adding tons of plyometric exercises! Since training with Avis, I have built more muscle mass, improved my conditioning and stamina. I'm always looking forward to the next session!
Monica is an AMAZING trainer!!! I have been working with her for over three years, and she has transformed my whole body. I am stronger, leaner, and happier than ever before. She's incredibly skilled with so many different workouts including weights, plyometrics, pilates, and kickboxing. She keeps workouts interesting and fun. She is upbeat, funny, and kind, and I always look forward to our sessions together. I cannot recommend Monica highly enough!!
My health and fitness journey has been a long arduous process. I've hired several trainers before all of which I've felt weren't 100% commited to my goals (they wanted the money of course) which left me discouraged and unmotivated. When I found Crawford Boxing & Fitnesss my outlook completely changed. The owner/trainer, Vaughn Crawford, is the best personal trainer in the business. He is engaged and invested in your fitness journey. Each session is tailored to push me to be stronger (physically and mentally), have more endurance, and become leaner. Not one session has been the same and it NEVER gets boring. I've gone through circuit training, conditioning, boxing with pad drills, weight training, plyometric workouts, group workouts, boot camps and so much more. It's to the point that I've fallen in love with boxing. CBF offers different locations: beach, parks, boxing gym, etc., flexible hours (I'm a working professional and flexibility is important), and nutritional counseling. They offer web training or text workouts when you're traeing. The CBF clientele is so diverse: business owners, students, pro and amateur boxers & working professionals etc. but they have one common foundation: CBF and Vaughn has trained them to be the best and healthiest shape of their lives. Join the Crawford Boxing & Fitness Team - it's a game changer.
David has been my personal trainer for 9 months now and whether he likes it or not, he is sometimes my therapist--listening to my work or relationship issues between squats. He is the perfect balance of supportive, and no-nonsense, what every great trainer should be. In that time, my body fat percentage has gone down 7%--which, ladies, is amazing. He is very versatile with all styles of training and lets the program adapt to what works for you. We've done everything from heavy lifting, basketball/football drills, boxing, yoga, and plyometrics. He's very talented, and I only hesitate to endorse him more because I want to keep him to myself. That's how good he is.
