ShifuMakeup does an AMAZING job!!! I booked her for hair and makeup for 2 days for my cousin’s wedding events and I LOVED how she created the exact looks I wanted! I received so many compliments for both days! Truly felt like a doll. Every interaction with Shifu was always so pleasant! She’s very professional and so sweet to communicate with. From the first message, not only was she quick at responding back but she thoroughly answered all my questions and was very transparent about her services and pricings. As for the services she provided, Shifu definitely puts her time and effort in creating the perfect look. I loved that before diving into doing my makeup, she prepped my skin with a mini skincare routine (she’s the first HMUA that I’ve ever come across do that). I appreciated that so much as skincare is so important to me. I also loved that she used great products and nothing cheap. Then as she did my hair and makeup, she made it a point to continuously check in from time to time to make sure I’m satisfied with how I’m liking the look. She took her time and really made sure I was 100% satisfied with my look!
I really LOVED working with ShifuMakeup and would definitely book her again!!! She’s great at her work and is very talented!!! And to top it off she’s very sweet and just so easy to talk to. This has to be one one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with a HMUA! Thank you sooo much ShifuMakeup for glamming me up!!! <3

Great job! She was about 45 minutes late, which is understandable with LA traffic, but did set our timeline back a little bit. But I loved my hair and it stayed up all night, and I got many compliments on it. She was friendly and very responsive to messages!
