Cello Lessons (for children or teenagers)
John Rasmussen is an exceptional teacher and cellist! My 11 year old son started the cello 2 years ago with John and continues to looks forward to his weekly lesson. I appreciate John's patience, extensive knowledge of the cello and his teaching methods...which keep my son engaged and excited about the cello!

Cello Lessons (for children or teenagers)
He was quick to respond every time I sent him a message. When I met him for the first time, he listened to me very carefully. His soft-spoken and calm nature definitely helped my 5 year-old shy boy to relax and start having fun with him on the first lesson. We are so lucky to have found him!

Mr John Rasmussen is a naturally gifted musician & teacher. Our young son has made amazing progress in less than 1 year. We would highly recommend him for cello instruction. He has a masterful understanding & knowledge of music and is able to convey this in a professional & easy to understand manner. We are grateful to have such a exceptional teacher for our son.

FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Tuition is paid monthly. It includes 1 lesson/week and monthly group classes.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Yes. A good teacher is always learning and performing. I participate in teacher training from master teacher Irene Sharp every year. I read industry magazines. I am principal cellist for Symphony Irvine.
- How did you get started doing this type of work? The cello has been a part of my life since I was 16. There is nothing I would rather do than teach others how to play the most beautiful instrument.
