I love having the knowledge base to help others.
Too many people go to their physician seeking help, and leave without the answers or relief. Yet, when they are willing to look into forms of complementary or integrative medicine they are likely to find answers, hope and relief.
Not only did I deal with a chronic pain condition know as Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), but I've had family members diagnosed with cancer. We learned along the way how big a role that stress, anxiety, nutrition, and our view on our condition(s)had to do with getting better. My family member(s) decided to utilize forms of integrative medicine to treat their cancer in Germany. Yes, this was a different treatment plan, but the reality is there are many ways to effectively treat cancer. This includes traditional treatments, integrative, and nutrition. Yes, it is possible. Just the same as it is possible for chronic pain patients to over come their pain, to break the pain cycle and regain their lives without invasive surgeries and large amounts of medications that don't give them relief. There is a wonderful saying that I was taught along the way, "There is no pain, until it reaches the brain."
I am humbled and honored to have the ability to treat my patients, get to know them and have the ability to guide them down the path to health, wellness and success!
