Our family of four moved across the country and Kerry was crucial to our packing process. She is a very innately talented organizer and packer and was both efficient with her time and extremely careful with our breakables. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Home Organization and Packing/Unpacking: Free consultation, in-person or over the phone depending on project(s) For Thumbtack customers: $55 per hour for one person, 3 hour minimum $100 per hour for two people, 3 hour minimum No charge for mileage within 40 miles of Irvine Business Consulting: $75 per hour No charge for mileage within 40 miles of Irvine
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I will first conduct a free consultation with the client (in person or over the phone depending on the project). During the consultation, I will ask specific questions about the client's needs and preferences. I will then provide an estimate of the time required to complete the job based on the following: 1. Type of project 2. Amount of items 3. Client's availability to make decisions regarding recycling/donating/selling/throwing away This will only be an estimate and is no guarantee of the actual time. If hired, once I start the project, I will advise halfway through if additional time--above and beyond the estimate--will be needed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?For much of my 23+ year career in the healthcare industry, I was responsible for business operations. My focus was to ensure that all pieces of the puzzle came together for successful outcomes. This required accountability, compromise, creating and implementing policies and procedures, establishing long-term relationships and plenty of multi-tasking. These and other skills prepared me to follow my dream of creating a company that HELPS PEOPLE.
