FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure the tennis professional you intend to hire is qualified. Check www.usptafindapro.com to find out if he/she is certified by the United States Professional Association. Google him/her, too. If he/she is a "real" teaching pro, there is a good chance you will find information about his/her teaching on Google. Try to find out how long he/she has been teaching and how long he/she has been teaching at his/her current facility. Watch out for pros who teach at local parks and schools. They tend to be less experienced. Watch out for pros who charge much less than the going rate. There's a good reason he/she doesn't charge the usual rate. If he/she was a really good pro who teaches at an actual tennis facility, his/her rates would be about the same as the other pros. Try to find friends or neighbors who have taken lessons from him/her and find out what they thought of him/her.
