Intimacy and passion,
Murray was very experienced and professional with helping my husband and I get a better understanding of one another. Our relationship was strained over the course of several disagreements on key topics, but Murray helped provide us with some simple but powerful tools in order to work out our problems as a couple. His guidance and fair approach made sure we were both comfortable in speaking our mind. We were able to rebuild trust and repair the damaged foundation of our marriage at the end of Murray's counseling sessions. We would not hesitate to recommend him to a close friend if we saw they were having similar issues.Mar 17, 2015

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My standard fee is $125. per 60 minute hour. However, in those cases where individuals are struggling to make ends meet, I will work with you to create a reduced fee acceptable to you and to me. Anyone that wants mental health help deserves the opportunity to receive the services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The client will arrive at my office, and I offer them water. Then, I ask that they complete my intake form. The next step is learning from them more about what they would like to see happen as a result of their therapy. They are able to ask any questions to learn more about my work. The work begins in that initial session, and I consider the treatment which is best suited to what you want to achieve. The minimal number of sessions is one per week, although depending on the first session, you could choose to be scheduled more often.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Due to my being licensed, I am required to do 36 hours of Continuing Education every two years. Usually, I attend Conferences and Workshops for both Marriage and Family as well as for Clinical Hypnosis. These meetings deal with the latest in evidenced-based practices, which keep me informed as to the latest and most effective treatments in my field. I would choose to attend these meetings whether or not I would be required to do so, because I gain so much with more up to date knowledge about my specific field of work.
