Introduction: As the owner of the company, my work stands out because I LOVE what I do. I have dedicated over 20 years of my life to landscape and garden design and pursued a Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture to formalize my education. I personally attend to each customer in the initial design phase of the project and I treat each garden as if it was my own space. I bring all my undivided creative energies to that garden to make sure that the landscape resonates with the surrounding environment and that each plant is in the right place. I am a sustainable design professional and bring my experience to finding the best ways to cultivate the most beautiful gardens without negatively impacting the earth. That would mean reusing materials on the site to create new walls, berms or pathways, using low-water use plants or drip irrigation or making sure run-off from the property is minimized. My company's motto is "cultivating a beautiful world...one garden at a time" and we live that motto every day! I enjoy meeting all types of people and I enjoy the challenge that each garden design provides.

Denise is incredible! She's not only a true artist, but patient and kind to the neophytes like me over the 2 years we've worked together! She has a real skill for looking at your area, really listening to the things you love, and custom-designing a garden / landscape that's perfect for you. My projects with Denise were completed at the exact times promised and even under-budget! (very different vs. previous experiences) And the process was so simply and easy - she's a great manager & leader. I honestly can not recommend her highly enough! In fact, I've just moved from having a full garden to living in an apartment with a rooftop deck, so I'll be asking her to design my container garden as well. I can't imagine any garden or lawn area that wouldn't benefit from her touch!

What a wonderful experience to work with Denise. We decided to replace every plant and tree in our back yard, but had no idea what to replace it with, and Denise came up with great suggestions. She took the time to walk through the neighborhood with me to look at plants and designs that I had seen and liked. Denise did an excellent job of listening to what we wanted, what we liked, and what we didnt like. She came up with a design that worked within our budget and exceeded our expectations. It is clear that she really enjoys guiding people through their landscape projects. She even visited us a few times after the project was finished, to check on a few plants and to fix a sprinkler. Denise is a delight to work with!

Denise transformed my garden into a beautiful relaxing oasis. She used my existing plants and brought many of her own.Her presentation was creative.Plants were put on various levels to provide more interest.She is a very pleasant person who is easy to work with.Denise is careful and particular about her work!

Hey Kent, Just noticing this email, as we are no longer active on this site. I checked our client contact files and we have a check mark that we sent a quote out to you 2 years ago. We have since updated our computer system and we did not keep the details of non-responsive client info. Just wondering why it has taken so long for you to get back to us and instead of asking what happened to your quote in 2013, instead you chose to post a less than favorable star rating 2 years later. If you never received a quote, it would have been great to have received a call and we could have found another way to get it to you since we may have entered an incorrect email for you as we don't use this site much. What types of customers have you worked with?
I provide landscape design and installation services for single family residences, estates, apartment complexes, streetscapes, parks and playgrounds. Our focus is on landscapes that require a minimum amount of water and we can incorporate boulders, river rocks, statuary and site furniture based on an artistic theme that works with the site. Even though we have a focus on water-wise design, we also design pools, ponds and water features. We provide expert maintenance and irrigation services as well.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When you are looking to hire a landscape designer, make sure the landscape designer has done projects similar to what you need to get done. Check their portfolio to see samples of their work and to see if their style resonates with what you are wanting to create on your property. Most landscape designers specialize, so ask for a free consultation to determine if their skills and style match with what you are needing. It goes without saying but it is important to underscore that the professional must have a friendly disposition and a great attitude and be able to get along well with all types of people. An ego has no place in a service based business. The professional must leave a confident, pleasing, lasting impression on the customer because in this kind of service, when we are designing personal space, the customer will always be reminded of the experience within which this space was created.
