The slow progression at school was the reason why I decided to put may daughter up with a private teacher, whom Linda seems to be the right fit. My daughter was never corrected for her fingering while playing the cello at school, until Linda did so. It took my daughter 6 months just to play 1 piece of music at school, let alone reading the music sheet for the cello comfortably. And she was the only cello student at school too! Linda is not only very knowledgeable musically, but also very talented as she plays many different instruments. Overall, very productive 1st class with Linda.

I wanted a teacher that could work with an older adult who not had piano lessons since childhood. After many years, I wanted to challenge myself by getting back into piano and I wanted to bring music back into my life. I was a bit nervous about making the commitment and about the time investment that would be required. I also didn’t know a good teacher so I asked around. Howard’s name came up. He was recommended as a patient and knowledgeable teacher that would do wonders with students. Howard’s approach is not the conventional one that I experienced as a child. He presents many types of approaches and uses lots of tools and techniques to build your skills and understanding of the structure of music. Now, I’m stretching myself to learn, remember and apply these skills and it feels really good! I actually enjoy practicing my piano. Now thats a testimony to Howard’s influence! If you are looking for a teacher that can accommodate your needs, encourage and inspire you, meet Howard and try him out. I’m confident that you will be very pleased with him as a professional and as a teacher.

My daughter started violin lessons and we couldn't be more pleased with the instruction she is receiving. Ms. Eunji is very patient and thorough. It was easy to schedule classes and the prices are reasonable. It is a plus that they offer lessons on the weekends as well. My daughter also decided to take the robotics and she is super thrilled with what she learning in there.

I have been so thankful and pleased to take cello lessons from Arlette these past three years. Her experienced instruction has helped me improve bowing and fingering techniques, and her great coaching has enabled me to better voice my cello to a richer, stronger sound. Arlette’s advice on best posture and handling of my cello has made me feel more comfortable and confident with my instrument. In addition, Arlette has helped me use the written dynamics and note phrases to achieve a desired mood of a piece. Currently I play in a middle school/high school/community string orchestra. Arlette's patient, cheerful, and affordable instruction has been a great help in preparing me for the challenging music in the repertoire. Cathi (69 years-young)

We have been taking piano lessons from Dr. Azi of Playa Music Lessons for almost 2 years now and we absolutely love it! She is very kind, competent and passionate about what she does. It truly makes learning a joy. My daughter, who was previously resistant to learning any kind of musical instrument, now loves her weekly lessons and even looks forward to them. I highly recommend Dr. Azi and her musical studio!

Brian was very patience and extremely helpful with setting us up with a piano teacher. We just finished our first lesson with our kids and Naomi is great! She seems very knowledgeable with piano. My kids were able to warm up to her quickly and that's not easy process. We will definitely be continuing our lessons!

My son started taking piano lessons from Kelly a year and half ago. Since then, he has blossomed. We'd tried a franchise center before discovering Kelly but quickly discovered that a minimum of piano playing is actually done there. At 7, he needed the basics first and she made it so easy and fun for him. Now 9, he took and passed the ABRSMs at Cal State LA last fall, becoming one of the youngest to do so out of 600 students. Recitals are offered twice a year, allowing kids to present their work to an audience. The kids enjoy playing, thanks to her patience, passion and persistence. We highly recommend Kelly Pedroza and Elite Musique.

Amazing Viola teacher, best I ever had. He has a clear cut teaching style, focusing a lot on technique. He goes beyond the sheet music and is very knowledgable about performance psychology. He's an active performer and is able to share his insight into the industry. I would recommend him to absolutely anyone.

Felix has been teaching my son now for 6 months and "wow" what a difference. My son is now included in the orchestra section that performs at the theatre plays. ( only expeienced and well taught students get this opportunity. Felix has not only given my son the proper instruction on how to play a cello, but he had to re teach him some previously taught (incorrectly taught) finger positions . That was not a easy task because my son has autism. Felix is a professional and patient and I do recommned him highly. Check him out on u tube , amazing!!! Signed, 1 proud Mom

My son can't wait for the next semester of his alternative string group (ASG) to start up again! Jacob has taught him so much about being creative and passionate about the violin and music, which has been a liberating complement to years of school orchestra. SPLA is a unique program with the most positive and inspiring teachers possible- so thankful to be a part of it!
