Ron was very responsive. He and his partner installed a gazebo that was a bit difficult due to poor instructions. Two curtains were required but came in different boxes. The main instructions did not provide info regarding the 2nd curtain. He was creative in making adjustments. Overall it was a great experience. I highly recommend North Berkeley Construction. In fact we are hoping to use them for a kitchen remodel.

Ron was absolutely great to work with. He got right back to me when I initially called, provided a detailed quote and completed the work perfectly not leaving a trace. He knows his way around old houses and provided several solutions to problems we had that were the right way to do things and not just taking a short cut, like lots of contractors tend to do. We will definitely work with Ron again.

I would highly recommend Ron to anyone who needs a trustworthy professional for either a large, complex project or a quick fix. Ron did a great job diagnosing a problem with my track lights and fixing them quickly. (The three electricians I hired before Ron were all stumped about the issue). Ron is clearly extremely experienced and knowledgeable. He was also really pleasant to be around. He gave me the space to continue working through emails, but communicated with me just enough so I knew what was going on.

After graduating from UC Berkeley, I got a job in international banking in San Francisco. But I kept being fascinated by all the construction projects on my walk to work. It was on one of those walks that I had the aha moment.
