Tara has been wonderful to work with. She is patient, kind, creative and extremely knowledgeable. Her flexibility in working with this senior student interested in brushing up on conversational French has been invaluable. We have been using the internet (facetime) for our weekly lessons which has worked out perfectly. I highly recommend her to students of any level of French.

I hired Tara to help me get back into French in preparation for a 4 week language program I am currently taking in France. Tara was instrumental in helping me get into a higher language group by reintroducing concepts around grammar, improving my pronunciation and (most importantly) helping me to get comfortable speaking. Tara used a combination of exercises from discussion prompts to workbooks depending on what subjects I was most struggling. Having that level of customization truly helps for making more rapid progress. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my sessions with Tara. In addition to being an excellent instructor, she is just a lovely person and she brought a lot of fun and humor into the learning process. I absolutely plan on working with Tara again in the future.
