I am writing as a PhD student, who two MA degrees and a fellow in the Writing Program at a Top 20 University. I have experience editing for an interdisciplinary journal, publishing, translated/edit for lawyers and business professionals and PBS, and teaching many courses at the college level. I was asked to remain at a local elementary school even after the teacher I was subbing for returned. With district H R approval, I was asked to take over that class while the teacher on extended leave was asked to do assessment testing for multiple grades upon her return..This was a huge compliment to me and my abilities to create "a sense of community" for the students who had multiple subs and loss of continuity and progress.
