I decided to look for a caterer for my Mom's celebration of life and my internet search lead me to Thumbtack. After inputting my needs I quickly received a response back from Tonya at Sierra Madre Catering with a detailed quote and attached menu. When I called to speak with Tonya I immediately got a good vibe from her voice. She seemed excited and eager to help plan our event and made me feel comfortable that everything would be taken care of. I am so thankful I decided to use Sierra Madre for my event. We ordered appetizers and desserts and they arrived and set everything up, brought their own trash cans and kept the tables clean as people were done eating. The staff was professional and nice and their food was DELICIOUS! Many of our guests gave feedback that the food was great and they even ran out of business cards because a lot of people were interested in having their info. At such a difficult time with the passing of a loved one, these details are important but not ones you want to worry about yourselves and Tonya and Sierra Madre staff took that burden off my shoulders and I am so thankful for that. I will recommend them to anyone in need of a caterer for any event and if I could give more than 5 stars I most definitely would!! Thank you Tonya and Sierra Madre Catering!!

Marie and her team did an amazing job with our wedding. She not only coordinated the event but also officiated the ceremony. The ceremony was heartfelt and everything we wanted it to be. Leading up to the wedding Marie was always helpful and continued to reassure me that our big day would be perfect. We hired Marie as our day of coordinator, so although she was not responsible for planning the entire event she did a great job of guiding me along the way and always had helpful advice and was more than willing to help with anything I needed. She and her team definitely know what they're doing, I myself am a bit of a control freak, as many brides are I'm sure, I found it hard to trust someone else with this event. However once I stopped doubting the process Marie definetly brought it all together beautifully. I had my reservation after reading some prior reviews that weren't the best, however Marie personally responded to each negative review and addressed the claimed complaint. I think a lot of people who hire a day of coordinator don't fully understand that you're hiring just that a "DAY OF" coordinator. She is there to help you along the way and really becomes involved the few weeks leading up to your event and then on the day of it's her time to shine. We had a couple snags the day of and she handled them all on her own and didn't even involve us in it, as to not create stress for us. Overall, Marie is great at helping create your dream wedding, follows your vision and puts it into place, she is pleasant to work with and takes great pride in her work. My event wouldn't have been what it was without her.

We could not say better things about Eulina and Creating a Remarkable Event. She was BY FAR THE BEST vendor we hired for our wedding. More specifically, she listened to what we wanted the best and was the most attentive to any and all of our needs. She led all of the communication between us and was so organized that it kept our entire wedding weekend exactly on schedule, and the rest of our vendors aware of their expectations and working in unison. Every time I thought of something coming up on the timeline, or had a concern, she was two steps ahead of me and it was already arranged or taken care of. Furthermore she mitigated any issues that arose with grace and beauty, and without my self or the bride even being aware that anything unplanned occurred. Not only is Eulina the sweetest person you'll meet, her professionalism was unmatched with how she treated the vendors and guests alike. We had a multi location wedding in Santa Barbara with a trolley tour in between. C.A.R.E. ensured that everything ran on time, the correct guests we in the correct places, no one was left behind and nothing was left out, or lost. This was a massive undertaking and I am confident it would never have gone to plan with out the expertise, planning and experience Eulina brought to our wedding. LexiLou Events is a top notch special event company. They are very professional and were attentive to every detail. From the planning, to the final day, they made us feel special. Our wedding reception was truly magical. So much so that guests felt they were in "Miami". The draping was beautiful and flowed in the wind. Lighting was truly amazing. Decorations were magical. I would like to give big thank you to The Experience Decorations and Party Planning company. This is my second time using them for events the first time was a Christmas party at my home .They turn my backyard into a winter wonderland they provided tables,chairs,heating lamps, decoration, Candy Apples, cookies chocolate dipped strawberries fountains, and a custom photo frame and the second event was my godson's birthday party where they turn Paw Patrol into a reality the decorations was so realistic that you thought you were in the cartoon I was very impressed by the quality of work and professionalism and that they were able to stick with my budget. thank you sincerely Tarasha

I had a birthday event planned by her and it was simply marvelous. I had the opportunity to meet the top chef from season 2. The people were great,.the food was awesome. Mrs. Taylor was very attentive to my needs and wants that I envisioned for my birthday. I would definitely recommend her for another event.

Where to begin! Ruby was a savior during my wedding events and was able to offload so much of my stress and attend to all last minute details I was unable to do myself due to time constraints. I was able to trust and rely on her 100% and she did not let me down she knew exactly what I wanted and needed. Ruby made detailed timelines and checklists for all my events. She helped me plan and execute my wedding ceremony and it was perfect. She was able to offer me affordable vendors for photography, wedding dessert table that had a beautiful fruit and fondu, icecream popsicles/kulfi with customized labels passed out during our wedding that my guest raved about how delicious they were till today, decor for my wedding ceremony, and she was able to offer me multiple options for makeup and hair vendors for my wedding party. Overall ruby was amazing her attention to detail and her genuine kindness and sincerity was what made her so great at what she does. She went above and beyond for me and my events. She was my go to person for all my questions and was able to keep me calm and organized winding down to the events. I definitely recommend to booking her asap for all of your upcoming events. She does it all!

Karen is amazing! Words can't adequately express my appreciation of this wonderful lady. She did so much to make our event a success and to relieve the stress related to hosting a wedding. We hired Karen to be our "coordinator for the day" for our daughter's wedding. Even though the wedding was small (about 60 guests) and in our home, we wanted someone to help so that WE could be guests ourselves and enjoy the wedding. I did quite a bit of research before choosing and I'm so glad that we chose Karen. She has an infectious smile that puts you at ease immediately. She is also extremely professional and knowledgeable. She asked a lot of questions so that she would have a better idea of what we were envisioning. She had great practical ideas that helped with the flow of the event. We felt like we were in really good hands. When Karen arrived on the day of the wedding, she absolutely blew me away! I gave her a quick tour of everything that was happening and she just took it from there. It was like she was family and had been there a million times. She stayed two steps ahead all night and really made the evening stress free. She has a very unique quality in that she can take charge and provide direction in the nicest most nonabrasive way. When she lets guests know that it's time to move out to the patio for cocktails, or that we're ready for a toast, grand entrance, cake cutting etc. everyone listens and no one feels like they are being "bossed around". When guests left, she did so much to help wrap things up that I actually had to tell her to stop. She's so thoughtful. She pays attention to the smallest details and she really listens. I know Karen has done hundreds of events from large and elaborate to small and intimate. No matter what kind of event your planning, Karen will make it better and she will make your life easier! I’ve worked with Above and Beyond Events for several corporate and social events - and can say that they are hands down the best event company out there. For my last event (corporate fundraiser) Selina (the owner), met with me personally and went over each and every detail, and thought of multiple things that I didn’t event think about. She is quick to respond via email, and made sure that everything ran smoothly through setup and execution of the event. She created a beautiful setup, provided lovely certerpieces and even coordinated all take down after the event. I truly can’t say enough about Selina and Above and Beyond Events, my expectations have been exceeded every time.

Glennie and her team was Everything I had hoped for and more! They were so helpful throughout the entire process, went above and beyond, and we’re so detail oriented and amazing. I really did not have to plan my wedding because they had it all planned for me. I just had a vision, I told him what I wanted, and they made it happen. I would highly recommend Glennie and her team To everyone I know. My wedding of 450 gas and having it on today’s was so fun and exciting. If I were to have it again in 10 years, I would definitely rebook with her.

Valentina and her crew worked magic for our corporate holiday party! She had worked hard planning a great way to jazz up our office and surrounding land for an upscale holiday event. Lo and behold, two days before the event - RAIN!! Valentina was able to quickly change gears and transform our new last minute space (Oceanside Museum of Art) into a festive Winter Wonderland, while cooly making things happen. I honestly don't know how she pulled it off with hardly any time. I highly, highly recommend Valentina and her team. I really appreciate that she LOVES her craft and it shows.

A&D was so great! We hired her for a Thumbtack event for our LA pros. We didn't really have a vision for what we wanted, and were planning the event from another state. She went and walked through the space and made some great recommendations for what would look good. It looked so great! I hired Brittany and Betty, mother/daughter super team, for my garden wedding this past weekend. They were superb. I requested a lot of quotes and spoke with a lot of coordinators prior to choosing Fou de Joie; I choose them because from our very first conversation could sense they were very organized and meticulous with the details, a must for any successful event. They were extremely communicative throughout the process ensuring that all the small changes were recorded and planned for. They took so much stress off my hands and truly allowed me to enjoy the journey towards my wedding day. It was all so pleasant and as stress free as can be possible. On the day of the wedding, they arrived ahead of schedule, reviewed the timeline with all vendors and involved parties, and finally enabled a splendid reception and ceremony.
