Hector did a beautiful job patching a hole in my bathroom wall where some plumbing work was done (it has one little ding because of the amount of plaster he had to use and the temperature/humidity of the room; easily fixed with a swipe of spackle). He was on time, very kind and nice, easy to communicate with, and gave a super-reasonable price. I will definitely call him when I get my act together enough to get the bathroom repainted and spruced up with new light fixtures and so forth. I would recommend him highly.
Brendon did an amazing job! Not only did he show up on time, he was early!! Very rare these days. He is a complete professional and a very nice guy. He did some drywall work for me and it looks fantastic, matched it to the existing texture as well. I will definitely hire him again! Thanks Brendon!
Pool Service & Maintenance Professionals This is a truly amazing company and I am very happy and agree with all the great write ups this company has on Yelp. After dealing with the absolute worst contract experience I had ever encounter with OC Pools & Service who is plastered all over Craigslist. I decided to try looking into finding a pool service company based on good reviews. I found Pool Service & Maintenance Professionals had the highest number of reviews and they were literally all 5 stars, which seemed a little hard to believe. I called and explained the issues I was having with the pool and Alex diagnosed the problem on the phone, I gave him my e-mail address (while driving) and they were going to e-mail me a quote for the repairs. A few days had passed and I went to call them again when the phone rang. It was Jack with Pool Service & Maintenance Professionals. He said he had the parts and he could come over and do the job. I told him I had not seen the invoice and it turns out my e-mail was not spelled correctly and thats why I never received it. Jack quoted me the price, which seemed fair considering the complexity of the job. Jack was on time, courteous and professional. He dug right in, analyzing the equipment and validating the issues. He did an amazing job. With attention to detail and doing all the little things that turn a good job into an exceptional one. Jack was able to fix other issues I had with the pool and when he left, the pool was running like a well-oiled machine. To be quite honest, its been a few weeks since the work had been performed and I never remember the pool working as well as it is right now. Not even when it was originally setup. Moving forward, this is the only company that I will use to service my pool. Their advice and recommendations were spot on, their prices were reasonable, their workmanship was exceptional and their business practices were polished and professional. Companies like this have become a rare commodity and this is the kind of service you want to tell your friends about and hope they do well. Thank you Alex and Jack for a job well done!
I am a recent homeowner in Escondido, Ca and I looked on thumbtack for a contractor and that's when I first found Luke Carr Construction which was an excellent choice. My old house built in the 1920s needed to be completely remodelled, there were holes and cracks in the lath and plaster which other constractors were leary of working with lath and plaster. Luke fixed all the walls, rewired all the electrical in my house, including new ceiling fans and can lights as well as new deco switches and outlets throughout that I purchased from Home Depot. He also painted the entire 4 bedroom house each room with a different colour I selected. He refinished the original hardwood floor in the house as well as the old chipped and base floor moulding, which came out superb! He opened walls and doorways to expose more of the kitchen and bedrooms, he created matching arch ways to match the ceiling. At first I was nervous because I've never done this before but in the end it looked even better than I could visualize and it created a more open atmosphere, I've received lots of compliments from family and friends about the unique arch ways. He also gave me advice on landscaping and didn't charge me to replant some of my trees that were put in too deep (took two hours), and gave me advice on the exterior which is the next phase of my home. He is an excellent painter, clean and neat, matches existing texture perfectly the other contractor said he would try but couldn't guantee it would match. He also did additional electrical work in the bathroom and advised me to add extra outlets in the living room that I didn't think I needed but really have helped me bring the house up to code. Overall Luke is a trustworthy guy and is very respectful of my choices, he gets the work done, he doesn't have a lot of the modern technology like 3D imaging and I don't believe he has a website but his dedication and old school ways worked beautifully for me and my job. He prides himself on his family life, I met his grandchildren on two different occasions and they were sweet. I'm looking forward to having him back for Phase 2! I've recommend him to two of my friends, one of which used him and she was very satisfied. Patricia
My company has used Silverhawk plastering for years. Always professional, clean and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them!
I am so pleased I chose this company for my project. Anthony replied to my inquiry promptly and came for an estimate the next day, Friday. Now it is Monday at noon and the job is done! He removed a mirrored wall, repaired and retextured the drywall. Protected the work area from flying glass and did an excellent clean up and removal of broken mirror. The texture is a perfect match to the existing walls. Price was very competitive.
Chris has been performing plaster repair for George Bender Plumbing for years. he is a third generation plaster and stucco man. we have been very pleased with his work ethic and honesty. The quality of work is excellent
We live in a Craftsman bungalow home built in 1926 and needed some plaster work done on a doorway in our kitchen that we had walled in. We just didn't have the time or energy to do it ourselves. Richard came by and gave me a quote on Tuesday and sent his plaster expert, Angel, early on Wednesday morning. The job was finished in a day and a half and we couldn't be more pleased! Angel is highly skilled in his craft and very neat and tidy. We plan to use P&R Lathing and Plastering again for a future project. Highly recommended!
With concern that the cost of travel would be included in any quote for service, I chose John C. Biondi Plastering Company for its proximity to my home, having over 35 years of experience and offering free estimates and reasonable rates. The time scheduled for a free estimate was kept and they were on time. The estimate was so reasonable that I requested that my partially finished garaged be completed (minus the ceiling) in addition to repairing the damage done as a result of my Hot Water Heater bursting and Dry Work being required. Although they do drywall and painting, I selected to do the painting myself even though the quote given was reasonable. On the day the work was to commence, the crew was on time, very friendly, quick, professional and the estimate remained the same when payment was due. I'm also thankful for information provided to me about the structure of my home that I was not aware of. I highly recommend John C. Biondi Plastering Company. Job well done. I do plan to do business with this company in the future since they also do stucco. Kenneth J. Baker CWO4 USMC (Ret)

If you are a plumber, I might be able to help patch the walls and ceilings. I have worked with plumbers for over 20 years (on the side) fixing the drywall, plaster and stucco after the plumbers finish their re-pipes. I was a commercial drywall finisher and I worked for a drywall contractor in Anaheim over 20 years. (We worked on schools where the drywall had to be perfect to pass inspection and.) And I did side-jobs for the plumbers. I'm retired now but I still love to do side-jobs. I really an not looking for a boss to tell me HOW to do the repairs -- I am an expert at what I do, and I work by myself. If possible, I would like to deal directly with the homeowner, and I will pay you a generous referral fee for sending me to them. When I finish the job, you cannot tell where the patch was! No job too small! Usually the homeowner likes my work so much, that they have me do more work for them, like painting and some light handyman work. I charge anywhere from $100-$500 per job. I'm in Norco, but I can travel to most cities within a 100 mile range. Thanks for reading this. Jack Feutell
