I can't speak highly enough of Joyee and his team. They were able to work with my son's busy schedule and help my son with his prep work. It's next to impossible to get a perfect score, but my son did it thanks to Joyee's help. We will be going forward to college counseling help because I know that Joyee has quite a bit of experience working through the admissions process. He's already given us some amazing advice, and I wish we had met him sooner. I can't recommend Thinque Prep highly enough!

We used Thinque prep for both admissions and test preparation. This year was a difficult year with the pandemic but Michael and Nina were both there to guide our Isabella to a great test score. She improved 150 points and will be using her improved score for her college applications.

Thinque Prep was an amazing asset to my family and I. This was my first child and I was extremely confused with the all the rules and requirements that colleges have these days. I met with Joyee and he helped clarify everything. He walked me through a timeline for testing, course selection. He help set up my son for a proper testing schedule. We talked through colleges in depth. He connected me with a world class research opportunity for my son. He also hosted a essay workshop over the summer where he invited actual college representatives to work with the students. They read through his essays and gave him constructive criticism. I can't thank him enough for all his help, and we will be continuing to use his services -- in both test preparation and college guidance -- for all my children.

We've been working with Joyee at Thinque Prep for a while, but we just got back from one of his college counseling workshops. It was an amazing experience through and through. This man goes above and beyond when it comes to helping his students. I know that there are a lot of choices for prep, but Thinque Prep helps with all the other things that most other providers don't offer.

Helped our son out a ton in a college calculus 2 class. Built a relationship, earned trust, got our son to do the work, and brought his grade up a lot. We'd hire Joyee again and probably will. So that our son can start a semester with him and hopefully avoid needing his help when performance is not so good.

Thanks for your thoughtful review. Jared was actually quite good at math. I think something about the instructional method wasn't clicking with him. However, once I explained it, he picked it up incredibly quickly.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We provide packages for college admissions coaching, test preparation, and tutoring that will result in a discount for families who pursue more than just one service. Families will not be turned away for inability to pay. We will work with each family on a sliding scale provided they can provide verification of income.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
All potential students are requested to take a diagnostic exam and participate in a consultation. During this consultation, we will analyze your exam, talk through educational planning and college readiness, and then work on providing customized advice that will help them prepare for college.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
15,000 teaching hours logged. Perfect SAT Score Perfect ACT Score 100% pass rate on the following exams: AP Calculus, AP Physics, AP Chemistry, AP US History. Improvement of 1-2 letter grade improvement within 4-6 weeks of coaching Membership: National Association of College Admissions Counselors, Western Association of College Admissions Counselors, Independent Educational Consultants' Association.
