Introduction: My 40 years of experience gives me quite an edge, of course but I think my greatest strength is in interpretation of a brides vision and giving her more than she thought she could have on a budget. I also grow some wonderful and interesting textures and details on site at the studio that give my work an edge. This also insures unsurpassed freshness of product and a 'hands/eyes on' experience for the bride and her family. I absolutely LOVE flowers, happy brides, beautiful San Diego Days, raising english roses and succulents here on my eco-fabulous ranch. Doesn't get any fresher than that! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are a eco-friendly, certified Wildlife Habitat here at Designworks and offer over an acre of unique details, succulents and english roses that you may choose from on your studio visit. This greatly reduces my overhead and I pass this on to you! I offer military discounts as well--my way to say 'Thank You'. You have the option to pick up your wedding florals from the studio now and save on labor and installation fees too!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am able to work completely via email, with a free consultation in studio, or a combo of communications choices to complete your vision!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was on the board for the Grossmont School District in floral design and plantscaping, and I stay in touch with the latest trends by freelancing in Beverly Hills and spending way too much time on Pinterest....
