Melissa transformed our dog! We hired her to help us with our 8 month old puppy Lola who was IMPOSSIBLE to walk on a leash and would relentlessly bark and nip at any guest that came into our home. We were so desperate for help...a high energy dog that refuses to walk makes for an unhappy home and her behaviour towards visitors was nerve-wracking. We chose Melissa because of her great rates and reviews and she did not disappoint! After our first session she had Lola walking on a leash without any problems and gave us tools we could use to work on her fear of strangers. We had a total of three sessions and with her guidance we have a whole new dog. I'm happy to report, we had our friends over to our home and Lola was a doll! What I appreciated most about Melissa was her patience with us. She's incredibly knowledgeable, professional and really took her time explaining everything to us so we could be better owners for our girl. I would recommend Melissa to anyone struggling with their pups. We were at our wits end and I can't thank her enough for what she's done for us! Obedience is something we will continue to work on and thanks to the service she provides, we now have the furry companion we always wanted!

I decided to start dog training while working at Petco. My passion for animals (especially dogs) and helping others really drew me to training. I can use my understanding of different methods of reinforcement from my degree in psychology to help those who love their animals as much as I love mine.
