We used Austin's drafting services to produce drawings for the addition to our house to take to City Planning as well as to City Building and Safety inspections. Austin expertly drew the drawings we needed in less than a week and went immediately to represent us to the City and got approval on the same day in both departments. We were quite amazed and pleased with his work and his promptness. Austin is a very nice man and treated us with kindness and much caring, which is just what we needed as we went through this process for the first time. Austin knew what he was doing every step of the way and took care of us. And at quite a reasonable price, as an added benefit!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
like I stated above, it depends on the type of work. Generally I charge per sq. If the City requires Energy calculations the customer has to pay extra $200 to produce one.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I charge $2.00 _$3-00 sq. ft. to produce Architectural working drawings for City approval. It depends on type of job and the number of sq ft of addition. Pricing can be negotiated.We conduct site analysis, it involves measuring existing buildings and lot sizes to ensure that set backs are met. Customer is responsible for plan check and permit fees. Hourly rate is $45 an hour.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Associate degree in Architecture with honors. Certified kitchen designer.
