About this pro
Did not show up to do the job. I do they call me? No. I had to call three times demanding that their manager call me. Some guy named Tony calls me spologizung that they had trouble with a client. (It was then 1:30. They were to be here between 11a d 1). I said, “you could have called me hours ago to let me know. My car was packed (I had reservations to stay at a hotel). The gas was shut off. He said he could be here in 1 1/2 hours. I said, oh no. I have no faith in you or your company. Cancel. The work ethic with so many contractors is truly nonexistent.Dec 23, 2017VerifiedRick A.'s reply
It was explained to customer that the fumigator had an unexpected problem at a previous job, causing the delay. It is unfortunate that the customer did not let complete the job, especially since he was prepared and ready to leave.
Scheduled appointment with not a long wait. Professional termite inspection for refi. Very satisfied A++Sep 30, 2016Verified
I give an average rating because the inspector arrived 2 hours earlier then scheduled time, was constantly on a phone during the inspection and did not give his full attention to the job. For example the deck was not examined properly.Feb 26, 2016Verified
Our appointment is next week, but already they've been awesome. Thank you!Oct 14, 2015Verified
Morning. Greg came out to inspect my home in a timely manner. All my concerns and questions were put to rest. He explain the process and even gave me the best price. I shopped around and I am very happy to go with America pest control. I am now in need of an exterminator for quarterly maintains and will definitely give American pest control a call to see if they are able to beat other quotes I've been given.Oct 10, 2015Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?First we need to take to the customer and find out what pest they have. Once this is done, we can start to move in a direction to set up an inspection. That way we can all be on the same page and make no mistake of the pest. So a proper ID is paramount. Sometimes customers confuse Carpet Beetles with Begbugs. Or think they have termites and it is just swarming ants. Not termites. Which could lead to a costly "fumigation" that is not necessary. So spend your money wisely, not foolishly! Inspection 1st!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Educate them about the pest and process to eradicate.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? Our company has been in business over 54 years. Each month we hold a company meeting not just with the inspectors and technicians, for their licenses, but our office staff are also required to be involved. That way we are all on the same page with information.
