I signed up to work with Markshane about six weeks ago, and I have loved every minute of it. I work out at the studio four times per week, and I appreciate that the workouts are always varied and very clearly tailored for me and my fitness level. As I have become stronger and more fit, Markshane adjusts and adapts my training sessions. In the first five weeks I lost 13 pounds and have dramatically increased my strength and fitness. I've lost inches in my waist, hips and abdomen and have dropped a size in clothes. In addition to the great workouts that combine with a supportive and encouraging set of trainers, Markshane's studio offers nutrition advice, massage therapy and other services that are contributing to my overall wellness. I have felt better about myself these last six weeks than I have in a long time, and I know that with Markshane ( and his team's) support I will hit all of my long term goals. I have had trainers before. However, never one like Megan, who cares beyond the workout. Her overall wellness lifestyle is motivating and inspirational. Her classes are filled with support and drive. I like that she is not a pushover or a Drill Sargent. Most of all she knows her stuff. She is always reading and learning, adding more credentials to her resume...and keep classes fresh and different. What she has created is a community of wellness with her blog, videos, and app. I would recommend Megan to anyone who wants to make a positive change in their life.
Rich's style of training is like no other. He's not the yell at you trainer, he's not the clipboard trainer, he's a pure motivator. Rich is an artist in the gym. His training sessions are ever revolving. In the past year, no 2 training sessions have ever been the same. I can't say enough good things about training with Rich, but if you want to change who you are physically for the long term, he's the trainer for you.
I have been working with Wes for a couple of weeks now, and I have to say that he has been outstanding. In our initial meeting, we discussed my goals and what I was looking for with my training sessions. He immediately crafted a workout regimen which would allow me to attain my goals. He is excellent at pushing you to reach your full potential. I have had some injuries in the past, and Wes has deisgned programs/routines that allow me to get results without aggravating those areas. I also have a schedule that can be unpredictable. Wes has been great about being flexible with workout times to accomodate me; and without penalizing me financially like some other trainers I've had in the past. Wes is a great guy, and I look forward to continuing to work with him. It is without reservation that I recommend him to anyone looking to improve their physical health.
As a former college athlete, I have worked with many trainers. I consider Dustin to be among the best. He is very knowledgeable, understands body mechanics, remarkably responsible and flexible. I highly recommend him.
To be honest I don't quite know where to begin. There are not enough adjectives to describe how amazing Lauren Allen is. I was first introduced to Lauren through a coworker who was sharing her experience and I just had to find out for myself. I have had personal trainers in the past however I never felt comfortable enough in my journey or happy enough with my progress to continue. When I first met with Lauren I let her know this and she assured me that she would do everything she could to make me feel comfortable and to this day she has only exceeded my expectations. My initial goal when meeting with Lauren was to get in shape for my wedding by working out and eating clean. Little did I know in a matter of 4 short weeks Lauren would make me fall in love with working out and find a new appreciation for my body through the changes I have already seen. She's also taught me how to eat in a way that is real, it does not feel like I am restricted like all other diets, I am eating real food and remaining cautious of portions and moderation. Lauren has made my journey one that I will never forget and I know I will continue far past just getting fit for my wedding. Thank you Lauren for giving me my life back. I have always struggled with accepting myself and the way I look but when we work together and train you make me feel as though I am capable of anything and that all my goals are within my reach. Anyone looking to rediscover a love for themselves, Lauren is your girl. Not only will she make you look and feel great she will give you tools that will last a lifetime.
I recently did a private instruction session with A. Doyle. It was my second time ever doing yoga and I was intimidated by the atmosphere of a gym class. Allison's instruction was the perfect alternative. I didn't feel self-concious at all. I learned classic yoga poses and breathing techniques. She tailored the lesson to my beginner level and was very attune to my particular strengths and limitations. She had alernative poses ready for me in the case that something was too challenging, so I never felt like I "couldn't" do the lesson. She was attentive to correcting my form (making "adjustments") so that I had a good foundation to start on. I feel that in a group class I wouldn't have gotten nearly the personal attention. She takes her time and even repeated the lesson once we were finished (without my asking) so I could try it at a different pace and with my new knowledge. I appreciated that she didn't watch the clock or appear rushed in the least. She seems to truly love what she does and is perfectly suited for private instruction. Her rate is more than fair for the quality of instruction you receive.
I've been doing personal training since 2010 through many different trainers, my all time favorite was with Brittany. I went through a phase where I wasn't conditioned to training, had gained weight and wasn't use to lifting weights. The first time we trained together, I thought it was really weird but she made it of importance about my breathing and posture and didn't just get right back into lifting like I use to. A couple sessions later, I really actually felt a difference because she made it important to recondition myself and make sure that I breathe properly while I train! She not only made me feel physically fit, she was a great person to talk to, and made me feel great while I worked out and constantly pushed me to be a better person. I wouldn't ever want another trainer, and when I'm done with my break from training, Brittany and I are going to be back out there hitting those new PR's!
I've worked with a lot of coaches and trainers and Tom is by far one of the best. When we started working together, he was able to spot my weaknesses and what I need to work on quickly (and without judgement) and is always able to break down what I need to do to improve in a way that is easy to understand. He always keeps the workouts interesting and do I dare say fun. The hours I work out with Tom always seem to fly by. He is always pushing me to believe in myself more and I welcome these challenges knowing that he is ensuring that I am doing everything safely and with good form. I've seen lots of improvement since I started working with Tom and wish I had found him sooner!
I have been training with Johanna Godinez now for almost 3 years and I can honestly say I am WAYY better shape than I have ever been in my life. I had multiple trainers in the past, but the difference is Johanna Godinez not only gave me a great workout every single session. She also showed me how to live a healthy clean lifestyle. And that is what seperates Johanna from the rest of the trainers out there. Many trainers can guide you to lose weight or get into shape, but Johanna Godinez is the only trainer I have ever had the pleasure to work with that taught me it is not only important to take my training session serious, but more importantly make healthy living a lifestyle. Johanna is extremely educated at her profession and takes her job very seriously. I would highly recommend her to anyone one who is serious about achieving there fitness goals.
Lisa is experienced and knowledgeable. She brings a lot more to the table then most trainers. She is also a health coach and helps with healthy eating.
Colby is not only a wonderful trainer/person he actually cares about you and your goals. I looked for months and went thru 10 trainers before I found him. Anyone can say they are a “trainer” but that doesn’t mean they are good at it. Colby is the BEST!!!!! He a combination of everything you want and look for. He is passionate about his job, he is dedicated, he makes working out fun and not seem like work and he has a whole lot of knowledge and this will help you meet your goals. I have now been training with him for EIGHT years. It says a lot about a person when their clients NEVER leave. =o)
I’ve always been on a rollercoaster when it comes to my weight/fitness. Ever since reaching out to Zack my habits have changed and he has helped me so much! He is very professional and even with my busy schedule he helps me work around it to make sure I don’t fall off track again. He definitely challenges me with the workouts and coming from someone who has had 7 trainers in the past 10 years, Zack’s training never disappoints!
Candon has taught me so many different exercises and how to perform them properly without hurting myself. I know what I need to do at the gym, but Candon helps keep me accountable. He pushes me more than I would ever push myself and has me do things I never imagined I could do. It's hard, but I'm always really proud of myself. I'm a nurse and we are very prone to get injured from lots of pushing, pulling, and lifting patients. I see a lot of my coworkers getting back or shoulder injuries. I know I'm getting stronger and I can see the difference in my muscle tone. I like that Candon is creative. I hate running. Im sure he knows that lol. So I appreciate that he doesn’t make me do a lot of running. Instead, he finds other ways to get my heart rate up and make it more enjoyable. I noticed that some personal trainers can be intimidating. Candon is really friendly and approachable. Prior to seeing Candon, I never exercised. Now I always look forward to my next session. Having appointments set up with him keeps me accountable. It’s hard for me to hit the gym on my own because I always find other things to do. But knowing that I have an appointment with him makes it a lot easier… No excuse for me not to exercise!
Jon has a great knowledge on different training modes great for the variety of clients that he's getting. His dialogue is very to understand from a training standpoint. He takes the time to teach form first over everything. Not only is he educated in the training aspect of fitness, he has a very good knowledge of diets that help his clients. A very versatile trainer, how trainers should be. Highly recommend.
I put off getting into shape for a long time, because I was intimidated. After a few months with Roger, I wish I hadn't waited so long. The results have amazed me. Roger tailors everything to your needs and goals. He pushes you and does not let you make excuses. (Have you ever tried whining to a Marine? C'mon.) But at the same time, he never makes you feel bad about your skill level, no matter how inexperienced you are. The gym itself is also great -- private, well equipped, and conveniently located. The whole experience has vastly exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Incinerate.

I did a 2 week trial with Adam, and in just those 2 weeks I could feel a difference in my body. The Workouts he had me doing were great! From rope slams, Trx cables and Bear crawls, Adam had me doing everything I needed to be loosing fat and gain muscle. He also recommends a dietary plan. This was great, he provided a shopping list and snacks that I should eat during the workouts to get the best results. Adam is a great trainer and he knows his stuff! i would highly recommend anyone who is trying to live a healthier lifestyle to get in touch with Adam.
Stubbs is a dedicated, knowledgeable, and conscientious trainer and person. Rather than receiving a cookie-cutter workout and simple form checks like I have from past trainers, Stubbs paid special attention to exactly what I was and wasn't capable of then created workouts tailored around my capabilities in order to get me into the best shape of my life. He puts his full effort into achieving your fitness goals inside and outside of the gym. Not only did I make strength gains, but his focus on posture and mobility has eradicated all my back, hip, and knee pain that made me fear working out in the first place. Take advantage of his skills before he gets booked up!!!
I've been working out with Jamie now for about 6 weeks and have nothing but amazing things to say! He has very quickly dissolved the insecurities that I had about weight lifting and strength training and has turned it into confidence. He uses encouragement and is extremely patient in teaching me how to properly use the equipment and the form of each movement throughout. I work out with Jamie twice a week, and on the days I workout on my own at the gym I can very clearly hear his voice reminding me to follow through with each exercise, to complete each rep, and remember proper form. His style of personal training has been the most beneficial I have ever found. He teaches along the way and inspires curiosity of my own for constant improvement. Each time we meet he has a personalized workout that challenges me based on my progress and my goals. I truly look forward to each session and always leave happier, feeling healthier and motivated. This was the best decision I've made for my overall health in a long time, and I am very thankful for Forest Grown Health!
I am so happy to have found a personal trainer who is extremely knowledgeable about the field and very patient with someone who is just getting into fitness. I have been training with Stacey for almost 2 months now and love that our workouts are challenging yet fun. Aside from the workouts, she has created a diet plan specific to me and my needs. My fitness goal is to lose weight and to tone. I am definitely confident that continuing my training and diet plan with Stacey will get me to my goal body! Thank you for all that you do!!
