Paul Grether is a very talented musician and teacher and a great person. He is wonderful with kids. He is sweet, smart, motivational, caring and funny. My 9 year old son loves him and loves his guitar lessons. He gave up tennis to have two guitar lessons a week. Paul is so affordable to top it off that we are able to afford two one hour lessons a week. I am thrilled to pieces. Anyone would be lucky to have guitar lessons with Paul.
Helped with difficult math classes in high school
Emo is an awesome artist he is patient and understand and knows when to push you to your very limit. I shopped around for voice coaches for weeks before I settled with Emo anyone reading this don’t look at anyone else. Go see Emo he’s laidback patient and he his lessons are fun.
Very professional, thorough and patient which worked for as a beginner in this kind of fitness. My only con is that I can't do as many lessons as I'd like. Overall a great trainer.
We are in the infant stages of my lessons but i can already tell by Sharons teaching methods that i will be more than satisfied. I made an excellent choice in a piano teacher.
I've been taking guitar lessons with Kimberly since the beginning of 2011. At the time I'd had several years of lessons using a traditional method on acoustic guitar and was looking for a teacher who could help me focus on electric blues rock and move me beyond my intermediate skill level. Kimberly has a real focus on and talent for teaching. My lessons are tailored to meet my interests. A large part of the lesson is devoted to learning her method for blues soloing--at least 5 approaches to improvisation and comping. After several years, I've come to see how these approaches interweave, complement each other and have become an intuitive part of my musical vocabulary. Also, because I expressed an interest, part of the lesson involves sight reading, learning blues and jazz theory, developing rhythmic playing sense, and learning a few favorite solos. Kimberly has an amazing ability to tab out and teach any song you give her. Which leads to the best part--after 6 months I was invited to play with one of her ensemble classes. While I was absolutely petrified with fear at the beginning, this has turned into one of the highlights of my week every week. It is just downright fun! It's a safe and forgiving environment where you can make mistakes and learn, or try things out that might flop, or turn into something cool. Every teacher and guitar magazine article all point to the need to play with other musicians to develop your skills and this is where Kimberly Allison really delivers. I feel that I could now sit in with other musicians and contribute. I give my highest recommendation for taking lessons with Kimberly.
Omar is very professional and patient. My daughter is enjoying her cello lessons.
When I started, I told James I could "play guitar a little" with one section of a song I learned from my friend "Smoke on the water". Actually, I was taught to play it was one string and my thumb! James graciously rebooted my skills with the basics about rhythm and music and started me off with some easy chords, pick and strumming techniques, and using all my fingers. By the end of the first lesson, I could already have some fun with the small jams he taught me. After 9 lessons, I was jammin and loving the guitar. I was able to figure songs out and make up new rifs on my own. James is an excellent teacher and I highly recommend him.
Mark is an outstanding teacher. We have found him to be extremely professional and knowledgeable. Most importantly, his style of teaching resonates very well our daughter. Under Marks instruction, her abilities have elevated, and she has better comprehension of her music. She is enjoying her lessons and practice a great deal more. I wholeheartedly recommend anyone taking lessons from Mark.
Cosima is a very personable and knowledgeable vocal coach. Her demeanor is comforting yet encouraging when working through those "rough notes". In the short time we have been taking lessons from her, she has given my son much needed confidence to navigate his changing voice. We are very happy to have found Cosima!
My family is truly happy with my son home Spanish lessons. Nuria is an amazing teacher. My son loves his lessons and has fun. He is excited to learn and can't wait for his next lesson. You won't be disappointed.
It was amazing he treated us like family and was never shy to let us know when we were doing something wrong! If i were to do my lessons again i would do it with him! He has a good ear for music!
Chris responded immediately to my post for a piano teacher, was very professional, friendly and I really like his stylistic approach to teaching. We have had about four lessons with him and he is punctual, professional, courteous and most importantly, my daughter is really enjoying her lessons. I highly recommend this teacher.
My granddaughter takes piano lessons and she loves them, but she loves Marguerite more. When the kids are little they get bored very quickly but Marguerite has a way with keeping their interest and making playing the piano fun. She is a warm and lovely woman and just so talented
Mark was very prompt and professional in his response to my project request. He is a very relaxed guy and made me feel very comfortable during my first lesson. We chatted about my goals, which I feel confident of achieving from Mark. During the first lesson he was making "light bulbs" go on for me for stuff i was struggling trying to learn! He made it so simple and fun. His rates are reasonable. He is worth every bit of it in my opinion. I have had three lessons since and I can not wait until the next one! (FYI...i am mid fifties male playing for three years)
I have been a student of Musication labs since 2012. I have studied guitar with Kevin Swan and drums with Chad Patrick. This place is the real deal. Kevin will help you identify your goals in music, whether it be to learn a song for a special occasion, to read music, to write your own songs, or become a guitar wizard and improvise in a band. He has helped me reach these milestones in my journey with guitar. I highly recommend Musication Labs to students brand new to an instrument and those who are experienced and need to be pushed through their plateaus. They are passionate about teaching and this place has a completely different vibe from the ever so profit making commercialized lessons at Guitar Center or Sam Ash. If you are considering lessons, you will find great value in the quality of education receive at Musication Labs.
Brian is very knowledgeable in the art of Self Defense. It's apparent from lesson #1 that he has a true passion and intellect for self defense and the teaching of! 5 Stars.
I exchanged a few messages with Laura about the possibility of taking guitar lessons. She responded quickly and answered all of my questions. Unfortunately, I am only in town for a short amount of time, and things did not work out. I definitely recommend Laura if you're looking for someone who is kind, professional, and easy-going!
My daughter has been taking voice lessons from Marianna for 10 months. I'm delighted by the rapid growth that my daughter has experienced and by the engaging way that Marianna has built relationship of trust and confidence with her student. I appreciate how well Marianna communicates and I especially appreciate her flexibility in scheduling. We are so lucky she teaches in our community!
Marie has been teaching my daughter piano for over a year now. She is awesome! My daughter is 14, and has been wanting to give it up. Marie’s enthusiasm and professionalism has helped her to keep on taking lessons. She’s flexible and will work on an individual basis as to what works best for each student. I couldn’t be happier with Marie.
Extremely patient and easy for my 5 year old to understand...he looks forward to the lessons.
