- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Fees ESTATE PLANNING FEE SCHEDULE The following is a list of the most common estate planning documents we prepare. Please note that there could be special circumstances for each particular Estate Plan which could alter the price. The numbers quoted herein are given for general reference to the typical Estate packages. We ask for a down payment of ½ down and the rest can be taken in monthly payments. If you have a question about our fees, please feel free to discuss them with us at the time of your initial consultation. In addition to the charges shown below, documents needed to transfer assets to a Trust, such as Deeds will be charged at $50 each and are not included in the package price.This $50 per document is for our firm to go the requisite governmental office and ensure it is properly recorded or filed. The County Recorders charges to record any such documents will be advanced by us and billed to you. Initial Consultation (free or $150 to review current estate plan) Estate Planning Consultation at Our Office for New Clients with no Existing Estate Plan will be given free of charge. Estate Planning Consultation at Our Office for New Clients with an Existing Estate Plan (This includes attorney review of existing estate planning documents and a consultation with an attorney to discuss current estate plan recommendations and changes you are considering. We must receive a copy of your existing estate planning documents and $150 for review of the Estate Plan at least 1 week before the appointment. You can email the entire Estate Plan. Will Package for an Individual: $325 Will Health Care Directive Durable Power of Attorney Will Package for a Married Couple: $500 Will Health Care Directive Durable Power of Attorney Standard Trust Package: $1,250 (Usually appropriate for a single person or for a married couple with assets totaling approximately $1 million or less) Standard Trust Will(s) Certification of Trust Community Property Declaration (if needed) Bill of Sale for Personal Property Health Care Directives Durable Powers of Attorney A & B Trust Package: $1,750 (Usually appropriate for a married couple with assets in excess of $1 million or with various complex family situations) A/B Trust Wills Certification of Trust Community Property Declaration (if needed) Bill of Sale for Personal Property Health Care Directives Durable Powers of Attorney Q-TIP Trust Package (A/B/C Trust): $2,500 (Usually appropriate for a married couple with assets over $10 million) Q-TIP Trust Wills Certification of Trust Community Property Declaration (if needed) Bill of Sale for Personal Property Health Care Directive Durable Power of Attorney Special Needs Trust: $1,500 Irrevocable Life Insurance Trust: $1,500 Amendments or Codicils: $350
