Introduction: I use inovative fresh foods and make them not only delicious but present them beautifully- thus turning on those that didn't know how much they loved particular foods until they tried it this way I love being able to take a few fresh ingredients and making something unique and super yummy- I believe I have a creative talent that is both in the eye and the palate lending to a plate that presents like a beautiful mural and is also mouthwateringly satisfying.

Several years ago, I enlisted Colleen to cater a milestone birthday for my wife. My wife is usually the planner/coordinator of the family, so this was foreign to me. But Colleen made it simple, getting all the info out of me that I hadn't even thought to provide. She was able to plan a menu that would fit my wife's desire for exotic and adventurous fare with my own hang ups with not eating anything that doesn't look or sound like it should be edible. In the end, Colleen created a menu using commonplace items in inventive and exotic ways that surprised and delighted us both. We had about 40-50 guests who were absolutely astonished at the courses that were introduced. Not only were we bombarded with questions and praise about the dishes served, but even today, five years later, we have friends that still talk about the food we enjoyed that evening. Over the years I've had the fortune to attend other events that Colleen happened to be catering, and I can attest that her style and menu is suited to everything from an elegant fundraiser at the Aquarium of the Pacific to an intimate backyard barbecue-type gathering of less than a dozen. At every event, her professionalism, personality, and culinary skills have done nothing but impress me.

Colleen catered my 40th birthday party and my friends still talk about the food and that was 5 years ago! She has done several other events for us over the years and her presentations are always beautiful and delicious.

Colleen and her assistant catered my wedding reception and the food was so good!! She helped us in coming up with a menu that worked with our funky group of loved one's and the style of our reception- casual- without it feeling too casual like a party but really like a celebration of our love. We even changed a couple of things last minute and she was able to accommodate this. if you get a chance try the empanadas, holy yum! Aimee and Ron Robles

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Meet with them face to face if you can so you can get a feel for their passion. I cannot imagine hiring someone to cook for me if they are not passionate about it.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

    I consider every dish that I do with the utmost importance. I truly believe that I put forth as much love and consideration for everything I cook as I would for every dish I make for my family. I love what I do, and my ultimate goal is to share that with every single person that eats something that I have created. And sharing for me is the best- if you love something I have made and want to make it, I am not stingy with my recipes and would love to share it with you, just ask!
