Jonathan got me into incredible shape. I was out of shape and chubby prior to seeing Jonathan. Now I'm lean, stronger, and at a healthy weight. Also, he is a great martial arts and Krav Maga coach. I've been training Krav classes elsewhere but not getting the results I wanted. Now my punches, kicks, maneuvers, and techniques are on point.
OJ is 1 of the best personal trainers I've ever come into contact with. For starters, your initial meeting is a workout created to personalize your strengths and weaknesses for future sessions. Afterwards, he speaks with you regarding your target goals, time frame, ideal weight etc. Meanwhile, he's compiling a special profile just for you in his computer. He sends weekly updates on your progress like: body fat percentage and weight loss/gain. In addition, he also sends motivational text messages during the week. He really is the most professional personal trainer I've ever encountered. I'm just 3 weeks into my training sessions and I'm already seeing results. Thanks OJ!
When I first decided to start working out with a personal trainer, I looked online for personal trainers in Pasadena. I ultimately decided to go with Hugo based on all of the positive reviews I read of him on here. Since the reviews initially helped me make a decision on choosing Hugo as my personal trainer, I just had to leave my own review. Before committing to train with Hugo, he offered me an introductory deal so that I could experience working out with him. The first couple sessions he evaluated my strength, endurance, and overall physical ability. Once my fitness level and goals were established, Hugo set up a training program and nutritional plan for me. He begins every session by explaining and demonstrating the exercises in the circuit. He also clarifies and demonstrates the importance of proper form, which makes it really easy for me since I'm a visual learner. At any point during the exercise if I forget to use proper form, Hugo reminds me and encourages me throughout. He is very good at helping me understand which muscles each exercise is working out. I like how during every session, he is focused, patient, and motivates me to make sure I'm giving it my all. His professionalism and friendliness make it all that much more of a positive experience training with him. I've been training with Hugo for about three months now, and I can say that I'm truly happy with my results so far. My strength and endurance have greatly increased since our first session. I've noticed my body fat decrease and my muscle mass increase. I also feel much better when I'm exercising and eating healthy, it has greatly helped with my anxiety. I definitely plan on continuing to train with Hugo. I'm excited to see how my fitness level and physique continue to progress. I'm glad that I chose Hugo as my personal trainer, it is obvious that he loves what he does and cares about his clients. I definitely recommend Hugo for anyone looking for a personal trainer, you will not regret it!

Hands down Jobi Morrison is the BEST personal trainer! I have been training with Jobi for 5 years. I'm the strongest I have ever been! My workouts are never boring. I always look forward to see how he will challenge me with cardio, strength and balance and I am never disappointed! Jobi always takes the time to listen to my questions about fitness and nutrition and always provides sound advice. I usually shy away from recommending people or businesses, but with Jobi and Fitness Comes First I say Go Now! You will NOT be disappointed!
Donna is an amazing trainer. She really listens to my needs and helps me reach my goals. She knows when to push and when to ease up. She truly understands the human body, building muscle and increasing strength. She is very passionate about what she does and it shows. She checks on me outside of my training sessions to make sure I'm eating healthy and doing my cardio.
I have hired Manuk as my personal trainer because I'm Sweatin' for the Wedding. My wedding is in a couple of months and after searching for several private instructors I picked Manuk. Why? Because he guaranteed me results in a healthy way. No gimmicks. I've been training with Manuk for a little over 2 months and I have lost a healthy 15 pounds! I feel so energetic after workouts and Manuk is there to motivate me for every step, every jump, every mountain climber, every push up I do. Manuk is also flexible with his schedule which is always a plus for someone who is busy planning a wedding! He also keeps track of my food log. He educates me on the numbers I should aim for my nutrients and calories. Overall I've seen AMAZING results with Manuk and I can not wait to see my results in the next few months. Excellent coach, he's very committed, enthusiastic but respectful at the same time. I have been training with him for two months now and since the first week I could see results. The session goes from lifting weights to self defence, he really makes the work out to your necessities, pushes you to give your best.
So many times I have tried to lose the weight that I gained over the last 10 years. I wanted to feel that confidence again when I looked at my body in the mirror. I have tried many diets, gym memberships, DVDs and other trainers. I crossed paths with Meghan through my daughter and it was one of the best things that could have happen to me. I was at a low point with feeling that I was never go to lose the weight and would probably never get back the confidence. Meghan was my trainer for 4 months and in that time I found someone that not only knows whats she is talking about but each and every time I trained with her she was not only my motivational support in my physical growth but emotional as well. She helped me look in the mirror and not see all the imperfection but all the wonderful accomplishments I was making with my strength and cardio training! Meghan loves what she does and it shows in the way she lives and in the way she lets you know she is invest in YOU, it not just a job to her. She will walk you through a grocery store and teach you what to look for, she will text or email you recipes, she will educate you on workouts and she will teach you about the importance of a healthier you rather than a thinner you, that will come with just learning to be healthy. My knowledge on exercise and food has come so far and I have been working on my own using the tools she taught me to continue toward my overall goal. This time I know I will reach them and the game changer was her.
Sandy is not your typical trainer but shes a good one! She doesnt yell at you and push you until you cry. Rather she counts your reps, cracks a joke, or talks to you to make the session time pass quickly. She keeps things from getting stale by never doing the exact same exercises in consecutive meetings. Sandy knows so many exercise variations that she will adapt your training if you dont like a particular exercise or want to focus on improving one thing or another. She is also one of the few trainers that is willing to come to your house or a local park to train you. I highly recommend her. Shell get you into better shape if youre willing to put in the effort too.
I really enjoy my sessions with Chris - he’s calm, collected and listens to what you want out of a personal training experience. He’s also really encouraging and constantly challenges you during the session - while always watching and correcting any moves that aren't right. I enjoy the workouts – the time flies by and we have enough rest in between sets that I felt strong and enjoyed my session rather than collapsing in a sweaty heap – but boy, did I feel it the next day! Chris focuses on resistance with me. I would highly recommend Chris.
Derek was professional, he listened to my needs on what my goals were. He was always on time and had a set plan of action for every training session.
We have been training with Shoshanna since March. My daughters and I have worked with trainers before however, it never stuck. Shoshanna has a way of keeping us motivated and encouraging us to stick with it. Shoshanna has specialized workouts for each of us and they have been extremely effective. We have not lost a ton of weight but, we are toned and we have lost inches. She is very good at what she does but, she will not take it easy on you. She will push you and you will have muscles hurt that you didn't even know you had but, I ALWAYS feel great after a workout with Shoshanna!! We are very lucky to have found her!!!
I just want to start off by saying thanks a lot for the great workout Jacob! My arms and legs feel like noodles! Jacob has a great attitude and made the time he was training me enjoyable, even tho I was sweating and my body was feeling the burn! Jacob used a variety of different workouts that I've never tried out. I will be going back to workout with him again and see what level he can take me to. Thanks again Jacob!

I've done group training and individual training with Vanesa. She pushes you and gets you to do things you don't think you can. The sessions are always fun, and always a workout. She is constantly changing things up so I'm finding myself sore often, which is a good thing! The one thing I love is that she focuses on making me strong, which does more for my confidence than the scale. I've gotten into the best shape with her and highly recommend her.
Lee is a great trainer and a great person. You'll have fun during your training sessions with Lee because he knows what he's doing, and he's also very engaging. He really listens to your needs and goals, and makes your workouts an entirely personal and custom experience. Great results!

Chris is a great trainer and really knows his stuff. For many people, it’s tough to take that leap and hire a personal trainer to get in shape. It’s especially tough if you haven’t done any weight training before. However, Chris will teach and work with you no matter what your abilities are. He’s funny and keeps the intensity at the right level to see results while still being able to enjoy it. After working out with Chris, I feel refreshed. I don’t feel overworked, exhausted, or too sore. I’d highly recommend Chris to anyone who wants to improve their health, body, and happiness.
Coach Sarah's method is - not to be dramatic - life changing. After motherhood changed my body completely, my only goal in teaming up with Sarah was to "get feet on pavement" as she said. Literally that's all I wanted -- Accountability and motivation to get me out jogging. Then it turned into a 10k race that I won medal that said "top 100 female finisher" (not many people at the race but it's still a victory!) which now turned into half marathon training! In 2009, I said to myself "never running a half marathon again" after my first Disneyland Half, and in 4 weeks I'll run my 2nd. All because her method restored this mamma's "runner's high." She's sweet, incredibly encouraging, but tough! Thank you coach for giving me back my love of running!
