We hired Dayvid to shoot our wedding in Malibu last month. We were a little nervous hiring some one we had never met, but we could not have asked for a better photographer. Our photos are amazing, Dayvid is a true artist!!! Dayvid was also very professional and had a calm soothing way about him that makes even those who do not like to be photographed feel comfortable. His attention to detail was wonderful, we are great full to Dayvid for capturing all of the great memories of the day that we now have for a life time.
I hired Marc for a family portrait. I had never hired a photographer other than at a "chain" studio. As this was a new experience, I had lots of questions. Marc couldn't have been more patient in answering them. He was very courteous and professional as well as very flexible and no rush or pressure. Our pictures turned out great-I would highly recommend Marc to anyone.
Nona Photography did the maternity photo-shoot for us and we had a wonderful experience. She is a professional photographer and it is easily noticeable with the ideas that she brought and the photos she delivered. I would definitely recommend Nona Photography for any photo-shoot you plan.
I was in search of a professional photographer for family portraits. Low and behold I found Thumbtack and Tom (of Tovicand Photography) found me. Tom epitomizes professionalism while still maintaining a fun, casual vibe which allowed for the product of great photographs to emerge. I'd definitely recommend Tom, especially if you have kids, as a photographer and I plan on using his services again.
I brought my 13 year old daughter from Arizona to shoot with Joshua Monesson and we could not be happier with the results! He immediately made her feel comfortable. The way he was able to find different locations and get the most incredible pictures surpasses any other photographer we have worked with in the past. We loved the pictures so much we are coming back for family portraits. There are not enough stars for this photographer!
I have got the privilege to write this recommendation for Kenny Goldberg Photography . I am satisfied with his work 100% . He has the highest professional standard as a photographer , an artist and excellent communication and interpersonal skill. I am not experienced with modeling but under his instruction , I was able to express myself and engage with his camera and he was able to capture the best state of it . It is the first time I have shooting with him and I have high trust for his work ethic! You might hesitate at first when you compare the price with others . But for me it is better go with quality and something you really like !
AMINA is an excellent photographer. She photographed my daughter at the beach for her Senior photos and they turned out BEAUTIFUL! She made her feel at ease and they had fun which came through in the pictures. She is a true artist with a camera. We will definitely use her again.
There are photographers and then there are artists with a camera; Nicole Pittman is a true artist. I also hired her husband, Chris. Typically you don't strike gold by having an equally talented spouse - but that's what I found in this spectaclular team. I even hired them for another event. I didn't have the money in the budget but after my client saw the work - we couldn't afford NOT to have them. Oh - and the turnaround was insane. They turned over hundreds and hundreds of photos to me OVERNIGHT and a 5 minute edited video in less than 24 hours. I have NEVER seen such talent in a team. Oh - and they are the nicest couple you will ever meet. I'd hire them just to follow me around and say nice things to me! A MUST HIRE!
I am a great admirer of Mila and her work. She has a rare gift of capturing the essence of people and situations. How rare is it today to find someone who not only brings portrait photography to life in a whole new way, but is also genuinely kind, honest and caring with every person she works with. Mila is one of a kind in what she brings to her work though decades of experience and an amazing heart and talent.
Nataliia was shooting our wedding. The photo shoot process went smoothly and we appreciate the time the photographer took to choose the most appropriate area. Every single picture is art. We have an amazing photos and memories. We are very pleased with the work of Nataliia!
I hired Mika for a photo booth service for a surprise 55th birthday party at the end of January, 2017. Mika was fantastic to work with. Because it was a surprise party, there was no firm start time for Mika to arrive, but she was very flexible, arriving and standing by a little ways away, ready for my call. The actual photo booth service was fantastic! The equipment setup was fairly quick and the props were awesome. The custom printed background on the photo strips was spot on! All the guests had a great time. Mika was VERY flexible and patient with the attendees who had been consuming adult beverages for hours and she handled herself with poise and cheer! I would very highly recommend Mika Larson Photography for Photo booth, or any other photographic service needs.
I am incredibly impressed with the talent and professionalism of Johanna Siegmann. Her photographs are nothing short of brilliant. I've worked with her on numerous occasions and each time she delivers beyond my expectation. Her photoshop skills are what I call her magic. She did a shoot for a film poster for me with Ed Asner. She was fast, efficient, pleasant and delivered an awesome shot. She then did a composite photo of Jean Smart that blew me away. She has an extraordinary eye. Her portraiture is like fine art. Her on set photography is spot on. In my experience, Johanna Siegmann will bring inspiration to your photographic needs.
Photo shoot with an amazing artist as the photographer! Great experience.
I'd give my highest recommendation to hiring Sue Hudelson for your freelance photography needs. I was fortunate to hire Sue for the past three years for HAWAII Magazine's Island Hopping Maui front of the book section. Sue was always ready for any photo adventure! The photo assignments were always diverse and included landscape, hiking, portraits, food, shopping and lifestyle. She always provided many photo options to choose from and she was able to turn around assignments on time. I was truly blown away with all of the options I received for our July/August 2015 issue. Sue captured the lost of art of traditional Hawaiian Kapa making and provided so many wonderful visuals of Kapa making instruments, finished patterns and portraits of the Kapa makers. Sue was also instrumental in quickly turning around portraits of the Cultural Advisors for the Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resorts, Sheraton Maui and Westin Maui Resort and Spa. On a recent trip to Maui, I received a lot of complements from the Director of Public Relations Sumithra Balraj from the Westin Maui Resort and Spa. She raved about Sue's photography abilities to setup portraits on the resort properties with ease and was pleased with the results. I miss working with her and anyone that has the pleasure of working with her will get to see her energetic personality, passion for photography and her true spirit of Aloha. My husband retired from the Army and was celebrating a milestone birthday so I really wanted to do something special for him. I came across the idea of doing a boudoir photo shoot and thought that it would be something he would love (and would surprise the hell out of him!) but I had so many reservations about actually going through with it. I did extensive research on photographers in my area and came across The Boudoir Cafe. After looking at the photos on their website I knew that if I was going to actually go through with it this was the place I wanted to get it done. Cherie and Hedley's work are not just pictures, they are a work of art and none of the other photographers photo's even came close. I emailed Cherie to get information on the shoot and she responded back right away. Her amazing personality shines through, even through email, and I felt so much better after letting her know some of my reservations about getting these types of photos done. She sent me a great guide with tips to help me prepare for my shoot and really calmed my nerves. I have always struggled to appreciate my "curves" and especially now, as a mother of 2, I definitely have insecurities. Despite all this, I decided to just go for it. I have to say, even preparing for the shoot was nice. I took the time to buy some beautiful lingerie, get my nails done, and spend time doing things for myself which I hardly find time to do in between school drop-offs, homework, sports, and caring for my husband who was injured during his military service. I decided to travel from Nevada to LA to shoot with Cherie and Hedley in person and I'm so happy I did. When I arrived at their studio Cherie came out and greeted me. I already felt like I knew her from our email correspondence so it wasn't awkward at all. The studio is super cute and has such an intimate feel. I was able to talk to Cherie for awhile and then met Hedley, who is so incredibly kind. I didn't know how I would feel shooting with a man but they are so professional that I didn't worry about anything at all. My makeup artist was so sweet and did a beautiful job on my hair and makeup, and they even brought me a snacks and a drink while I was getting ready. I felt like a movie star by the time I was ready to shoot! I can't say that I wasn't nervous but after being in front of the camera for a few minutes all of that just kind of went away. I loved how they both told me how to pose and guided me through the shoot, especially because I have never done anything like this and had no idea what I was doing! You can see the passion they both have for their art and although they must have done this a million times they still were so excited to get that perfect pose and perfect shot. It was amazing to see them switch the camera lenses and lights and sets so flawlessly. I also just adored the love they have for each other, it was so inspiring. By the end I was exhausted but had such a great time. I know it sounds corny but I left feeling like I got that sexiness back that is so easy to lose in the monotony of every day life. Cherie sent me the proofs of my pictures in less than 2 days and I was blown away, even before any retouching had been done. I had no idea how I was going to feel about them but I LOVED them. I could hardly believe it was me!! They were sexy and beautiful and classy all at the same time. My husband just about lost his mind when he saw them and it was awesome to see that fire again. I let him pick the final pictures that are going to be edited and he must've gone over the pictures 10 times just admiring them all. He tells me constantly how beautiful I am to him but to be able to give him these pictures that are totally out of the norm was so much fun. It reminded me of when we first started dating and all of the excitement our relationship had before kids and the stresses of life. In the end, although these pics were initially for him, I feel like they were just as much for me. I love the confidence they have brought me. I was able to see myself in such a different light and realize that I'm beautiful the way I am, even if I don't have the "supermodel stick thin figure" I thought was needed to feel that way. I really feel like every woman, no matter where you are in life, should splurge and get these done for themselves. Thank you Cherie and Hedley, for helping me rock these curves and look damn good doing it.
Rodney has a great eye for the unusual and finds art where others see only pictures. Rodney made us feel at ease as if he weren't there and was able to catch great candid photos as a result. Thank you, Rodney!
Shooting with Lex was a great overall experience. Not only did the pictures turn out phenomenal every time we did a set but the atmosphere was extremely comfortable and fun. She is such a dope photographer. She knows how to work with the model(s) she gives pointers durning the shoot on what to do as a photo subject. I love doing shoots with Lex. I plan to have her as my family photographer as long as we stay connected.
Doug Heslep's fashion and life style photography is excellant. He is very creative and is the favorite headshot photographer in our area. I have recommended client's to him for over fifteen years.
Kylee Parks has been by far thee most artistic, innovative and well-rounded photographer I've yet to work with. And an inexpensive photographer too! Not being comfortable in front the camera, she instantly made a relaxing and welcoming environment! Her guidance and attitude was extremely helpful towards silencing my fears of looking terrible or silly. Simply, she's fun and has a lot of energy and her work speaks for herself. You truly won't regret hiring her for any event you have. Cosplay, head-shots, weddings, engagements, portraits, theatre and fine art!
