Prior to working with JJ, my lifestyle wasn't very active. I knew i needed a personal trainer to help with my exercise routine, and JJ was the perfect guy. Since I started working with him 2 months ago, I am now definitely stronger, and he'll push you during training but still make it enjoyable. He also pointed out the things I needed to maintain during my off days, such as cardio. I definitely recommend him to help anyone who wants to start an active lifestyle.
Being an athlete my entire life I have had many coaches, personal trainers, and workout experiences. The workouts OJ from One Body has designed to meet my workout goals have been extremely challenging and a perfect addition to my current workout regiment. I am impressed by his professionalism and consistent communication with me in order to assist me in reaching my goals.
Working with Michelle at Mikel Life Coaching has been a blessing for me! Michelle is warm, open, and easy to talk to! She has given me tools to work with in dealing with my issues! More important, she has taught me to look within myself and be true to who I am and what I need to be happy, and to visualize where and what I want in life!

I'm currently working with Eric to gain strength and flexibility (and improve my overall health). He has been great! I've been seeing him twice a week for about a month, and look forward to continuing training with him. A couple of things that I really appreciate about Eric and his training sessions: - He was courteous of my budget from the start and let me know what was realistic to do within my budget - He explains every exercise in detail (proper form, where you should feel muscles working, how a spotter would interact with the client). This is important for me, because being a girl and not growing up in a gym I had no clue where to even begin. So this is laying a good foundation for the long run even beyond our training sessions together. Also, it makes the client feel more comfortable when they know in advance where the spotter will be assisting at all times. - Eric is always on time. Even at 5:30 AM. He has a client before me at 4:30 AM and is there for that too. - He's been very kind and flexible when I have to travel for work and is willing to adjust the days that we meet so that I still get my two sessions a week in. - He is looking out for you in the long run. There are so many times that I feel discouraged because I can't quite complete a set or my form isn't right because I get tired. He is always quick to remind me that those things come in time as I build up strength. And it's true-- each time I can do a few more and do it better than before. He sets realistic goals and knows that things do not come over night and he wants you to realize that too. Overall, I'm really pleased with how things have been going. It's not a fast process for some of us, but since first beginning I have seen that I have improved in strength and that my body is shaping up. He's a great guy and knows what he is doing. I appreciate that he uses a style that incorporates basic weight lifting and body strength exercises, things that I could realistically do at home or a gym to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Mark has been wonderful. He has helped us lose weight and guides us on what to eat, workouts, and best practices. He is always available for questions and the best part is that he comes to our home! I will continue to use his services as we change our lifestyle and continue to be more fit!
Meghan is a powerhouse - a true professional! She walks her talk by staying fit, healthy and progressive in the best practice methods available. Although I am a certified health and wellness coach, she added depth to what I know. She provided great tasting recipes that were satisfying and easy to prepare. She also was my personal trainer and yoga coach. She pushed me beyond my comfort zone and helped me understand the true strength of my body. Aline was very informative, patient and passionate about teaching me cooking techniques, the importance of nutritional benefits from a variety of healthy foods and the balance of flavors for the dish we prepared. Which by the way was very delicious! The cookbook I received from her class is a great read that includes healthy recipes that I'll definitely use! My experience has been like no other when it comes to fitness!! I have a long road ahead of me with my weight loss goals, but I couldn't imagine this journey with any other trainer...his knowledge of the body and what it takes to achieve the lifestyle I need is amazing!!! This trainer practices what he teaches and understands from first hand knowledge because he treats his body like a temple. I know we all can not look perfect but he's the guy to help you be the best you can be for yourself. Jessie is the total package...great trainer and overall an awesome guy!!! If I could give more stars I would...I'm only 3 weeks in and he's changed my life already!! I feel great and I look forward to working out...I never thought I would have that attitude about fitness :) if you choose Jessie, be ready for the best decision ever!! I was very much in shape 3 years ago, but then the usual story happened, life got in the way. All that hard earned muscle deflated and I started rocking the couch more then a weight bench. Now nearing 30 I realized I really needed to make a change or else that sedentary lifestyle would become a harder habit to break. Thank thumbtack for leading me to Sandy, because I couldn't have asked for anyone more on the mark when it comes to the kind of trainer I need. She pushes without being pushy, and she made me feel comfortable at the first handshake. Getting moving again is hard when you've been in neutral for so long, but Sandy has made the transition into drive an easy endeavor.
Rochelle starting training me after I had my twins (I also have a 2 year old). With three babies in 2 years I really needed some help jump starting my exercise routine, and getting my body in shape. Rochelle was the perfect trainer to get me back on track for feeling strong and healthy. I have been working with Rochelle for 3 months now and am seeing great results. Rochelle has the perfect balance of pushing me, encouraging me and helping me get to my goals. I LOVE her coaching style! She's also a mom so she understands the challenges of having small children, trying to balance a busy schedule and knowing what your body has been through during and post pregnancy. With a busy schedule it's tough to make time for yourself, and I am really enjoying having 2 hours a week dedicated to working with Rochelle. She has been such an important part of my life the last several months and I am so thankful she is training me!
John McGrail is one of the best things that ever happened to me. After the 1994 earthquake I had severe anxiety about earthquakes which subsequently led to panic attacks being alone at night in a house without another adult. My friend gave me his name and he changed my life. I feel totally safe staying by myself AND have been able to take care of myself and my children when the ground starts shaking! I have referred many people to him who absolutely love him!
I have been training with Hillary consistently for 9 weeks now. She has become the best coach, a close friend, and daily inspiration in this amount of time. I have made huge strides in my running and physical abilities in such a short amount of time. To be exact, all my college running times are quickly being blown out of the water in training with her. But on a more important level, Hillary has been there for me emotionally on the days when life gets challenging and one foot in front of the other proves difficult. Hillary really cares about the whole person-not just numbers, results and times-but how you feel through your training with her. I continue to get stronger every day because of her constant encouragement and careful planning for cross training, rest, circuit work, and run days. Every day is different, fun, and challenging. It's easy for me to get bored with a workout-but Hillary always keeps things interesting! She is always rooting for me every single day, constantly checking in and responding to my messages immediately. Truly, if you want someone on your side in your physical endeavors-if you have any goals in sight but are worried you can't make it alone-then you shouldn't waste any time in contacting this beautiful person. She'll help get you where you want to be-starting now! I have no plans on leaving her watchful eye-in fact I have extended my training with her indefinitely. She's my coach, and I wouldn't want it any other way. I've never had anyone believe in me so much. I would think anyone in their right mind would contact her for that kind of support. So get to it!
Lee is an absolutely fantastic trainer! I am one of those people who starts something and quits pretty quickly. I had a baby and was in the worst shape of my life. I was nervous about getting a personal trainer for fear of being judged, not being able to keep up with the work outs, or the age old fear that nothing would change and I'd be stuck the way I am. Lee changed all that for me. Our first session he was easy on me, but still pushed me to do a much as I could. Then we built from there. He encouraged me to not only work out, but change my eating habits for a healthier lifestyle. He was always respectful and got to know me. He figured out just how far he could push me. As a married woman, I appreciated that he asked about my husband and never made me feel uncomfortable. I began feeling better and more confident in myself and my abilities. The only bad part about Lee is that he can't make the 4 hour commute to Memphis to continue training me! Seriously though, extremely professional guy who is dedicated to getting you to where you want to be and helping you to see that you can go further! I highly recommend him to train you no matter what stage you are at in your fitness.
Kelly is definitely a great coach. She worked with my schedule and online it gave me the flexibility to adjust to what worked for me. She had great ideas on how to get my body to respond and was encouraging when we were met with "roadblocks". She is very knowledgeable and she has such a passion for fitness. It's almost contagious! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for an in person or online coach. Can't wait to get back to it! Thanks Kelly!
Lendale is awesome! His teaching technique is thorough which is important as a true tennis beginner. He was patient and encouraging and kept us busy during the whole hour long lesson. I think it's critical to learn the game from a professional actively playing and not just someone who used to play in high school. Thanks Lendale!

Her system is completely different. Not only is she great at what she does, but she's a lot of fun to work with, too! They say that your body is your temple. After two years of going to school , my body became more like a tent. I never got quote unquote fat per se, but gone were the days of my being built like a brick house. Instead my muscles were getting soft and when I started to get the infamous arm jiggle in my wave, I knew I couldn't take it anymore. That's when I decided I needed someone to whip my butt back into shape and called Amanda with Ace Transformation. Amanda is an effective trainer. She is encouraging, kind and she listens to your needs. She's in your corner, she's your coach. She'll have you cursing her name during every flight of stairs you take after leg day. But I say all of this in a good way because she gives you the tough love you need to get back in there at your true fighting weight. I highly recommend her for all your fitness needs.
